Cosy, elevated bistro serving French classics such as suckling pig belly plus a robust wine list.

Wow! I mean, well, just wow!
My good friend Dominic invited me out to dinner. His house was indisposed, mid-renovation, and, while he is a skilled chef (not his day job) it meant using someone else’s facilities!
And what a very good choice this was!
This is a well-known restaurant, whose quality would put it close to (or well over) a single Michelin star. It has a good loyal clientele – this part of town has no shortage of wealth, with family offices, brokerage firms, hedge funds, VCs etc. While we were in there was a wine tasting going on – the nearby plutocrats were having some very serious fun with some very serious French vintage wines!
The ambience (we dined on the ground floor) is more functional than cozy. There’s a goodly amount of space between tables, something that I feel is a real mark of respecting your guests.
I’ve included pictures of some menu boards, some dishes and the wine.
The overall quality here is very high. The choices are well-thought through, well executed, and well served. The wine list is frankly epic!
I confidently assert that while this is a pricy establishment, it is an even classier one.
Do get down there. Currently Wed to Saturday service. Nearest tube is Goodge Street on the Northern Line, an Edwardian gem from 1907.

I had dinner at this lovely restaurant today and I loved it. Very unique flavours combining French cuisine and fine dinning. I would definately go back to have the duck again and try more dishes! The staff is also very friendly and explain everything in detail.

Noize is fast becoming a London institution for wine lovers. The owner and head sommelier, Matthieu, has fantastic wine knowledge and offers frank, honest advice. The wine list is extensive for a small restaurant and full of gems if you care to comb through it. This is a great place to host a wine dinner, with good food to complement any theme. They have a friendly corkage policy too. I’m told it’s one of the favourite haunts of London wine merchants and sommeliers. Enough said.

Absolutely a legend, incredible and warm services in every single detail. Had a birthday here and staff kindly prepared our cake and packed in the end. Menu is wonderful.

I had an incredible dining experience at this French restaurant! The service felt personal, like being cared for by family, with excellent recommendations tailored to my taste. The food was delicious, featuring perfectly average portions, refreshing compared to the oversized servings in America. The wine selection was impressive, offering quality options without exorbitant prices. And the dessert? Simply divine! It’s surprising they haven’t received a Bib Gourmand, especially after trying some disappointing places on that list. Overall, this is one of the best French restaurants in London, highly recommended!

This place is perfection. Incredible food, wine and service. The never ending sourdough and perfectly salted butter. So so so friendly. Knowledgeable and lovely staff, attentive but not overbearing. Quality place not destroyed by influencers. Had such a wonderful time, thank you!

I’ve only been here a couple of times but it’s a great place. Lovely food, well executed, mainly but not exclusively French, and an even bigger attraction is the wine – both bottles we had were excellent value and made the meal very special. Very attentive service also (in the basement this time).

Delicious food – slightly quirky twists on some favourites. Every course was a real treat and they call their sides “snacks” which are tasty morsels… Wonderful service, nice decor.
HIGHLY highly recommend, one of the loveliest restaurant experiences I have had. They also have a stunning private room downstairs, which is worth a look if booking for business.

An absolute highlight on our weekend trip to London. Lovely staff with great service, really good advice on the wine pairing, so that it would complement the entire meal, from appetizer to dessert. The food is a journey for the senses. George Farrugia takes comfort food and turns it into fine dining. The textures, colours, smell and flavour, he really activates all the senses. He was so unbelievably hospitable, explained the menu, and his thought process and really showed his passion for what he does. We informed the restaurant ahead of time that one of the guests was vegetarian and has allergies, and George took care of it, and created amazing alternatives so we could all enjoy a wonderful night and leave with very full bellies and a wonderful dining experience. I still dream about the croquettes.
