The bread basket was excellent. The calamari appetizer was on the small side considering the price. The crab stuffed ravioli was delicious, however also a small portion. The chicken parmigiana was huge, however it lacked flavour. The carrot cake was outstanding, best part of the meal!!
Our server was rather arrogant, the other employees we interacted with were very respectful & helpful. We wouldn’t dine here again.
I got the salmon pasta dish gf which was creamy and delicious. My gf daughter also enjoyed her chicken and pasta dish.
The whole table loved the gluten free meatballs and wedge salad.
(The gluten eating family members also enjoyed their meals)
Then there was the chicken picato – a seemingly simple dish elevated to perfection. The chicken was tender and juicy, and the mash potatoes were cooked just right, with a wonderful texture and seasoning. It was hearty and satisfying in the best way possible.
To top it all off, the Aperol Spritz and Tiramisu were expertly made – the perfect refreshing accompaniment to such a delicious meal. The service was also impeccable. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making for a truly wonderful dining experience. Highly, highly recommended!
Food was fabulously delicious. The homemade pesto sauce and bread, the mushroom sauce on the veal chop and the calamari were amazing. It was our first time there and will be making it a regular visit. Thank you
Everything we ordered was very delicious except for the creme brûlée. The chef needed to taste it before sending it out to the customer. It was not sweet, the custard was too eggy and heavy for my liking and the burnt sugar on top was very thin and did not have that traditional crack when spooned into! However, the entrées we ordered were very delicious! We had the seafood pasta with large shrimp and scallops, the crab ravioli with the tomato and butter sauce was excellent and the slow cooked lamb with demi sauce and whipped potatoes were very tender and tasty. Go for the entrees and appetizers and maybe some place else for dessert. Would I return to this Italian restaurant again? Yes. The food was delicious and the service was good.
The atmosphere of the restaurant was just okay, without any notable or memorable aspects. Additionally, the service provided fell below standard, which left me feeling disappointed. It was evident that Valentin was new, not understanding menu items ordered or even the wine list. We had to ask for bread, water refills and for our plates to be cleared( can you believe this?..)
One notable aspect of my experience was the discrepancy between the restaurant’s reputation and my actual encounter. Although the restaurant had received awards in 2017, 2018, and 2019, my personal experience did not align with those accolades.
Considering my experience, I would advise seeking alternative options when craving Italian cuisine. There are other establishments that may provide a more satisfying and authentic dining experience.
