Inside of the restaurant is so beautifully decorated and the vibes were awesome. The servers are so nice and attentive.
But the food was absolutely amazing. I ended up clearing my plate becuase I couldn’t get enough. I got the combination #3 and my husband got the steak tacos with a side of rice and beans. We will definitely be back.

I have a list of places in Jax I want to try and this location was one of them. They did not disappoint! Everything was flavorful and delicious! We ordered the shrimp tacos, beef enchilada, chicken (tenders) and fries (for the kids), and wings and fries.
The wings and fries were a hit! What a surprise! It was cool to walk around the market while waiting for our food. We really enjoyed it there, great job guys! ❤️
Oh, and to top things off. I love the decor and modern look of their bathroom lol

Pepe’s Restaurant was fantastic! I had the Menudo, a traditional Mexican dish, and it was absolutely delicious. I loved the warm, welcoming atmosphere and the kindness of the staff. The quality of the food was top-notch. I’ll definitely be coming back with the whole family!

New place!! Loved it. We had great service and food was fabulous. Couldn’t get enough of the salsa! Tried the queso and then had the street tacos. I enjoy the fact you can pick and choose and not have to get 3 of the same. They came with a side of rice and beans that were good! Great atmosphere and nice bar set up. Then over to the grocery side! Was impressed with the produce, desserts and huge variety of Vienna sausage!!! Lots of choices of spices and other authentic products to make your next cook at home meal perfect.

Service was great! It’s a cute little restaurant/grocery store. The store was clean and well stocked. The restaurant was also nice and neat. The food was a little bland and needed seasoning. The salsa was delicious and the chips were nice and thick. The prices were excellent. Everything was plated nicely. They had all the traditional Mexican plates on the menu. As well as the traditional Mexican products on the grocery side. Neat place to go see.

We visited Pepe’s on their opening weekend and we’re very impressed. The food portions were large, prices were reasonable, servers were kind and attentive, and the grocery was nicely stocked. They make their own tortillas (including their chips) and they were all very good. We ordered the chicken chimichanga, and the meat was super tender and flavorful, and the shell was lightly fried. Would highly recommended. The interior had an upscale feel, with lots of seating.

I ordered 3 corn and 1 flour ground beef taco. She asked how I wanted them. She then said you want them American. I didn’t see that on the menu but yes. That’s what I want. I get them home and not one of the 4 is correct. So sad. I really had high hopes. Looks like another one and done place for me. Very dissatisfied.

After months (years?) of waiting for a decent restaurant in close proximity to home, Pepe’s finally showed up and knocked it out of the park. This isn’t your usual Tex mex slop, it’s authentic scratch made Mexican food that is easily the most enjoyable I’ve experienced anywhere in the world.
In only a week of soft opening, I’ve been no less than 6 times and will probably end up there again tonight. The prices are ridiculously affordable, the service is pleasant and attentive, and did I mention they have a very competitively priced grocery and butcher attached?!
The next time you’re in the mood, or really just hungry, do yourself the favor and give Pepe’s a chance. You will be happy and very very full.
