Best Greek food in town. If you want that homestyle cooking, with great food and that’s all you want, this is the place. The kebab was delicious and so was the hummus variety dip. Also, the butter beans dish and the feta cheese with oil was bomb. Cannot forget about the baclava. Also the owner was the chef and he had such great hospitality. 10/10 place. Love love love

Cozy place, neat and nice restroom. I really like the french fries; thin, crunchy outside, soft inside, and tasty. The kebab is juicy, and the dessert, I don’t know the name, is very good and not too sweet. The owner is very friendly.

I can’t believe this Greek food gem has been in South Anchorage for two years and I’m just discovering it. It’s family-owned and operated by a lovely Greek family who cooks using their grandmother’s recipes, which makes every dish feel special. The food is outstanding—authentic, comforting, and full of flavor.

I am so glad to have found this wonderful restaurant! The food is incredible – full of flavor and absolutely tastes authentically Greek. I haven’t had Greek food like this since I was in Athens! Everything was delicious and worth the trip to Southside. The owner clearly values great, high-quality food. We will absolutely be back.

Wonderful food in generous portions. The feta fries are a must try, the hummus and pita slices were Wonderful and all of the wraps and platters were delicious. The fries on the inside are a great touch. Small intimate space, attentive service, apps came fast and the rest of the food was prompt. The staff was very friendly, a legit family run business.

The food was 10/10. Delicious. We loved the kebab platter.
We had to ask for menus, then ask for silverware. It seemed like others got those things when seated without asking; we were confused why we were left out.
We asked to combine two tables so our party could sit together, but the answer was no because a bigger party might come in. No bigger party came in during the next hour.
We had three entrees and two appetizers for $100, maybe that’s just slightly expensive.
Then two orders of baklava for $28 and that doesn’t seem right. It was the amount that other restaurants sell for one third of that price. Photo shows one $14 baklava.
It was all yummy thank you!

So good!! Reminds me of the food I had in Greece as a kid, specially with the season fries in the Yerro. Better than I could have ever imagined. It’s was huge and stuffed with perfectly season meat. The waiter was really nice too! Deff recommend!

Delicious! Smaller place with limited staff so don’t expect fast food. But very friendly and just doing their best. We ordered a lot of food and it did take a bit for it to come out but it was all delicious. The portions were ample and we left with enough leftovers to satisfy my two teen boys. If you’re pressed for time, go on another night so you can enjoy the upbeat music and savor the meal.

Whoa this place blew us out of the water. Alaska has needed amazing Greek food and this is it. We travelled to Greece this last summer and dare I say the food at meraki was BETTER than some of the places we ate in Greece. So impressed. Will definitely be back!
