My three year old loved the kids pizza and the chicken was perfection! Grits were delicious and couldn’t get enough of the Caesar salad. Loved our server. She was sweet and attentive. The place had really good vibes and everyone (including staff) looked happy to be there. Will be back!

Love this place! I ate here for the first time this evening with my mom and aunt, who love it…and it was so enjoyable. Fun, energetic atmosphere with delicious food and great service. I got the smash burger which was delicious. My mom got the half chicken which was also delicious (I tried hers!), and my aunt got the shrimp toast. She liked it. I tried the gravy on top and it was amazing. Last was the brownie which was decadent and lovely. Parking around back, clean bathrooms, patio seating. Reservations recommended…

We live nearby and love getting breakfast/brunch at Ty’s. My favorite is à la carte scrambled eggs and Parmesan Grits. My son’s favorite is the Hangover Burrito. The burrito is large enough to fulfill any appetite!

Such a wonderful and welcoming experience! I’m from Wisconsin and came here for a girls trip- we tried a lot of different restaurants in the area, but this was by far my favorite stop! The food was absolutely delicious and service was great. The owner was there, which I love to see at a local spot. He gave us 2 free desserts and was a really fun and nice guy! The churros were TO DIE FOR. I had a Caesar salad with grilled chicken and it was sooooo good! I hope to come back!

Second time visit Ty’s roadside and the service is excellent and very friendly.
We had brunch and dinner.i forgot to take more photos. Everything was good. The Cesar salad and the short rib are my favorite!!

I have celiac disease and a dairy allergy. Aaron was my server and walked me through the menu and helped me create my own specialized pizza which was amazing. The food tasted great, the service was phenomenal. Will be back next time I’m in Charleston!

Don’t look anywhere else! This place is amazing. So many options, immaculately cooked and seasoned, unpretentious authentic Southern food. Highly recommend the succotash, collards, carrots, Parmesan grits, and roasted chicken.

Definitely recommend,Ty’s Roadside Coastal Kitchen. If you are in the Charleston, Mount Pleasant area. This is a definite must place to visit. Kid friendly and the staff is extremely nice and amazing. What stands put the most is the owner is working close with the staff and he is helping them.
You can tell this restaurant is a family aroma. We were very pleased with the restaurant cleanliness and the food portions.
Food tasted amazing and a as very fresh and great.. we sat back where the kitchen was, this was great we got to.see all.the amazing food come out.
As owner says ( Action Table) hehe!!!

Been coming to Mt. Pleasant since 1993 and lived here twice, big foodie and somehow missed this incredible place!
The staff is super sweet, friendly and kind! As we had a short wait, more and more picture perfect plates kept going by showing how diverse their menu is….getting us super excited! Huge handmade burgers, outrageous chicken sandwiches, pizzas and wings literally made on their two fire ovens and grills. I mean walking to our table I see a half of a grilled/baked chicken and yep….that was my pick!
We began with super juicy char grilled wings with the side of their unique roadside sauce that has perfect low level kick and best part? NOT SYRUPY from being so heavy in sugar! Holy cow we all wanted to drink this stuff!
Our table ordered the pepperoni pizza, three fried chicken sandwiches and I had that half chicken.
The pizza was perfect, Dave Portnoy would be proud of the no-flop! The sandwiches were just as good as they looked and my son put that Roadside Sauce on his! My chicken came out on the some of the best grits I’ve ever had! I even ordered a side of succotash which, like the rest of the food, needed zero added spices bc it was perfect just the way it was!
We all walked away locking this place in as our new favorite spot in Mount P!
Super clean and higher end atmosphere with the most down to earth staff and very reasonable prices! They are getting robbed serving this level of cuisine at these prices!
