Great place to eat order at the counter and sit down at a table and eat. Great atmosphere great employees and awesome food. And the prices are very cheap for the serving you get. Would recommend this restaurant to any local or traveler to stop in and grab lunch or dinner.

Good mid-afternoon snack shared with my wife. Order at the counter and wait to be called. Food was fresh and hot. Baker’s dozen of the fri d jumbo shrimp (1/2 lb) with a generous portion of fries and coleslaw. Everything was prepared and seasoned well and the prices seemed very reasonable.

This was a last minute stop while passing through Brunswick and I recalled this place in the past, but now seafood has been added and this place is new. There are 2 registers and upon walking in there are booths and tables, as well as a take out counter. Of course me and my guests were new there and had no clue if we should have a seat, wait to be seated, or what, but we did walk to the counter and there was 1 person who was assisting 1 customer then afyer she turned around and started grabbing things from the food window..meanwhile we were just standing there with uncertainity on how to be assisted. There was a guy who came out then immediately asked is for our order..a party of 4, so we ordered but he failed to put an item on the menu and assumed we would know about the product which was presumptuous of him, but finally ordered and waited for the food, we did tell them it was our first time there, but no further assistance was provided, yet self explainitory from there. Now to the food.. . The food came up HOT and READY! Grilled fish and shrimp meal. Omg..the tilapia was so moist and well flavored that it just melted in my mouth. The hush puppies were light and fluffy, yet, crispy. The okra was ok but a lot of ends that I could not bite through..I ended up spitting out half the okra for that reason. The fried shrimp were medium size and delicious! They have baked beans on the meni which was pretty good, the tea was not good..watered down and tastes a bit old. They offered a new shrimp dip as a sampler before we left and I’m looking forward to that when passing through again. Overall the food made up where the customer service lacked, so a 4 out of 5 overall. Still left a tip although there was no server. The crab cakes taste good , but would like to have tasted more crab than the breading.

Who knows what the food is like, they don’t answer their phone during business hours. I tried 3 times about 5 minutes apart to make a simple pickup order, nothing. I stay about a mile from there, if the food, prices, and customer service were decent, I’d probably be there regularly. But I can’t stand when the only way to get a hold of a business, during their stated business hours, is to drive down there and stare at them until they respond. Maybe I’ll try again way in the future if I forget about this poor excuse for customer service. Figure out a way to answer and put people on hold instead of just disconnecting so they have tontry and try and try.

What a sweet little place! Super clean dining room, and the gal that took our order was so upbeat & welcoming! When we asked what was good, she replied “everything” and so far, she was right!
We had a shrimp po’boy with Cole slaw and a cheesesteak with French fries.
The po’boy was full up with light, crispy shrimp. Literally had shrimp right up til the last bite! The slaw was lightly dressed, perfectly creamy with just a touch of sweet.
The cheesesteak was full of seasoned beef & crunchy grilled onions, the French fries were perfectly cooked & still fluffy inside.
Looking forward to stopping by again the next time we’re in the Brunswick area!

Love MD. It has that local joint feel to it. Nothing fancy, but the food is great and the prices are good. I’ve only gotten takeout or door dash, but when I go inside the place seems nice. I put three stars for the atmosphere since I’ve never eaten inside and there’s nothing remarkable to point out. The staff I’ve spoken with are friendly though, and the dining area is very spacious. I’ve seen a mix of customers from families with kids to groups of coworkers.
I’ve had the fried shrimp salad, chicken salad wrap and sandwich, fries, fried clam strips, cheese burger, baked beans and the strawberry cheesecake. Other than the burger just being ok, I’ve loved everything else. Again, it’s nothing fancy, but it tastes like a person actually made it and didn’t just dump something out of a can.
The prices are pretty good too. Even if I want to be a pig it’s still no more than $20 unless I’m lazy and door dash it. You can get a decent combo with fries and a soda and it will fill you up. The service is really fast as well. Anytime I order takeout it is ready in about 10 min. If you want a simple, down home kind of place with solid food, check out Michael’s Deli.

A nice find away from the coast. Tried this while staying a bit inland and was pleasantly surprised. Counter service and an extensive menu. We tried the platter with fish, shrimp, clams and crab cakes. Comes with two sides and we chose baked beans and fried okra.
Fish was battered lightly and fried well. Very tasty. Same for shrimp and clams. Crab cakes were a little oily. Okra was huge pieces and we’ll done. Hush puppies come with platter and we’re good.

Has the local establishment atmosphere and apparently alot of repeat business. My club sandwich and fries were tasty, I would try something else next time just to see if all their food is as good. No complaints about the service, very friendly and accommodating. Prices were reasonable too. Plenty of cold ac on a very hot day!
