Pretty much only pizza buffet in the area, but luckily it’s a good one! Big and plentiful salad bar with lots of options accompanies a decent sized buffet that the amazing staff makes sure is always stocked with pizzas, pepperoni rolls, (DDs’ are the best) and strombolis. They have a monthly rotating special pizza, which is always tasty and original, and the atmosphere is just perfect for a pizza place, they always have some great mix of classic rock playing and tvs with sports and/or some kind of reel tv shows for entertainment. They have one racing arcade game and a claw machine just for good measure. Been going for many years, going back to the old location at lake creek, and Double Dave’s never disappoints.

Frozen pizza from the store more tasty. Service is 0 of 5. Ordered online and no notification or call that it’s ready for pick up. So pizza was cold and not tasty at all. First and last time here.
They sent email that order placed, that order processing, but to send that it’s ready they didn’t figure it out, but if you know that there is no notification why not to call the number that you were asking when placing the order, what’s the point of getting it.

We have ordered half price pizza rolls numerous times on Tuesday however the dozen we received last night were the ABSOLUTE WORST pizza rolls. The breading wasn’t the same as normal. Each pizza roll was very chewy, 95% bread 4% pepperoni and 1% cheeses. See pictures. I have always enjoyed the pizza rolls the next day, however, they were chewing on a piece of rubber today. Very Very unsatisfied with the product we had thought we were ordering. Let me just say that the frozen pizza rolls at H-E-B were better than the last batch we received. My Recommendation is to check the pizza rolls before you leave and make sure they are the same, refuse them if they are different and Ask for new ones to be made.

Legit no joke the worst is pizza place in Austin. I’m from Austin and I just came in and the employee at the cash register was the rudest employee I’ve ever dealt with got annoyed with me for asking for half cheese and half pepperoni, like my guy that’s you’re job why are you getting upset with me I paid and within five minutes I left. All the employees look like they didn’t want to be there the place was dim and dirty, if you are the business owner of this double Dave’s and wondering why you’re business is struggling this is why.0/10 would never go back won’t be surprised in a year when I drive back and this place is nail salon.

Willingly paid 1 dollar for ranch with pizza (none was offered complimentary) which was fine. I then asked to grab it from the buffet ranch sitting out all day instead of much larger prepackaged sides partially to save them on their margin but also to have smaller sides to share with family separately.
Started grabbing 3 very small ranch cups from buffet where you can grab as much as you want normally btw. Then the bigger guy, seemingly a manager, freaked out and confronted me super awkwardly. After giving me a super hard time in front of his store, he told me every cent mattered even after I explained how technically each cup is less, and is saving him money versus much smaller margin on fresh, prepackaged versions (thats why they charge a full dollar plus tax for these btw). The whole thing was stupid and did not need to happen. Do I really need to point out the obvious here: taking better care of your CUSTOMERS is how you make more money, NOT nickel and diming and arguing over ranch cups to the point of shaming your customer out the door.
Needless to say, our business doesn’t feel welcome at this location, and I expect yours wont either. Place was empty and dead by the way.

Super-yummy pepperoni rolls, hands down our favorite! Friendly staff, had the order ready quickly. We added on the chocolate chip dessert pizza. Great top off to the meal.

I’ve gotten pizza from here plenty of times, and for the most part, the pizza was spot on. However this is the 3rd time where I received burnt pizza. I even asked on the note line to please do not burn my pizza and I picked up another burnt pizza, it feels like nobody cares about what they do. The only thing I blame myself is not checking before I left. Please check your pizza if you decide to order from here
