TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Food itself was good, fresh very tasty.
Tried hot which it is , I like spicy food but next time would order mild. Dave’s sauce is just generic thousand island dressing, nothing more, I guess comparing to Caines which is superior. Portions were good.
One order was no spice , which means no salt, peeper or any flavor? Should read no seasoning of any kind.
However this store needs management!
Out of honey? Which someone in our party wanted or would have ordered less spice.
Very unorganized, ice dispenser not working, napkins in the dining area was empty, trash overflowing and majority if the tables were filthy, trash underneath them too! Had to wipe the table and seats ourselves with sanitizer to sit .
Atmosphere was good but restroom needs cleaning and larger restroom for more than one person . Took forever to get into, locked.
From what I heard about other locations, you would get a buzzer to hold on to until your order , not here, just wait at counter for 25 minutes.
Order mobile takeout if going again,
better for everything.
.
The food – we asked for 2 no spice orders and 1 mild mini sliders.
The tenders were for my son (5yrs old)… I WAS GIVEN REAPER. Can he read? NO! Did he bother to? No, because my boys just started opening their food and digging in. Luckily my teenager wanted to try the tenders first and once he took the first bite and started freaking out then pushed it to me, I took the smallest teeny bite one could ever take, but my mistake was it touched my lips… it was INSTANT HELL BURNING FIRE that got worse by every second. As I’m walking to the front I realize I cannot handle my face and start throwing ice all over it. I hand it at the front and say Y’ALL GAVE ME REAPER AND THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE NO SPICE. The kid just STARED AT ME. Someone that looked like a manager came and asked what’s wrong and the comment she made was WELL IT SAYS REAPER ON THE STICKER. No apology. No nothing, just walked away and nothing said as I stood there. I had to ask if I was getting the regular order. This is DANGEROUS AND IRRESPONSIBLE. The worker placing blame on the customer having to realize there was a round purple sticker that said Reaper is my same question – HOW DID Y’ALL NOT NOTICE BEFORE handing it to ME? I own a catering business and am aware of the seriousness that it takes when handling food and specific orders and this place just isn’t it. I’ll tell you what, had my 5yr old had the first bite – cops would have had to be called into that place. Our entire meal was ruined. I spent 45 dollars to throw it all into the trash because our tastebuds were DESTROYED at that point.
We tried to get over it by biting the food, but my son walked out with hives even after chewing 2 cups of ice and burning around his lips and it was just the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had.
