Stars: Food quality was excellent; wonderful and friendly service; atmosphere….well, it’s inside a truck stop, but it’s very clean in the dining area, as well as very clean and organized in the food prep areas.
Pizza review: Beef & Queso Pizza, large.
The quality of the toppings is outstanding, and the crust is superb as usual, but I was underwhelmed by the new beef & queso specialty pizza. I was expecting queso on it because hey, it’s in the name. Sadly, it either doesn’t actually have queso on it, or the corporate spec on how much to use is so stingy with it you can’t tell it’s there. I don’t think it’s the fault of the restaurant itself, I think it’s a corporate issue…but I digress. The flavor profile was on the bland side, which is surprising for a Godfather’s pizza. It was nice and spicy from the pickled jalapeño’s, but because it doesn’t have sauce and there was little to no queso, it just missed the mark on flavor.
Bottom line: beef and queso pizza is underwhelming. Try it in a personal size unless you’re feeding several people, but get a backup pizza

Hours say they’re open until 10pm. Went in at 5pm hoping to get a large thin crust. Looked closed, then a Loves employee came over and confirmed they’re closed already.

I spent my entire 30 minute break waiting for them to ‘open’ when it’s clearly during their published open hours and there’s food already prepared and on display but the staff keeps turning everyone away saying they’ll be open ‘in a few minutes’. I ended up just grabbing something premade in the truck stop side because no one has time for them to decide they’re going to start serving whenever it suits them.

Placed an online order and had about a 20 minute drive to carry out my order. Arrived at 7:24pm and my order was supposed to be ready at 7:29pm. Asked at the counter about my order and the girl was puzzled, looked at their tablet and said ” awe there’s your order, would you just like to cancel it or wait, do I really want to wait another 25 minutes foe my order, jo thanks. Previous time ordering there we ended up with 2 completely different pizzas then we ordered but just accepted it as a mistake. I see why thus location is rated so poorly. Never again.

I just want to say the pizza is great it’s always great. The reason I came to do this review is because I have no way of saying it to anyone else, but the little redheaded lady that cooked my pizza went above and beyond she was amazing and I just want to let her know that she made my day!!!!

Did not taste like Godfather’s Pizza at all. The crust squished out grease whenever I took a bite, and that was enough for me to lose my appetite. I picked off the 5 pepperoni and ate those. The pizza itself was inedible. 2 stars because the pepperoni was delicious and the store itself seemed very clean.
