Got the breakfast buffet. It had an array of breads and breakfast meats. Our waitress cooked us some fresh fried eggs. Food and service were great. I rang the bell on the way out.

Everyone was so helpful. The food was some of the best I’ve had in a long time. They really put love in the recipes. I’m excited to go back and try other things on the menu, plus the buffet. Thank you, Port Cafe for welcoming us so warmly.

Awesome food (& presentation!). Great prices. Don’t judge it by the outside! Seating is dated, but the food is outstanding. Lunch buffet every day & breakfast buffet on Saturdays. Highly recommend!

The food was horrible! The hashbrowns smelled like old chemicals! All the food was cold! I asked for overhard eggs and got over easy. They charged me for an adult for my 6 year old that didn’t even eat a half of a pancake! And I didn’t eat at all and it was over 40$!! Then the service was terrible the lady was rude the whole time! And she was a smartass when I told her it was ridiculous for them to charge that much for a kid and the food was gross! Will never be back!

Found this little place when we stayed at the Motel 6 (would not recommend this motel btw), but the cafe was great. We stopped for breakfast. It’s tiny, but the food is big! The servers are quiet but very friendly and kind! Prices were great. They ranged from about $6-$15 per person depending on what you ordered. Everything we got was delicious, except my teen did not enjoy the waffle, she said it was hard and she should have got the pancakes. The rest of the food was amazing! Very delicious and large portions. The salsa was so good, definitely homemade! Biscuits and gravy were excellent! Chicken fried steak was real, not frozen, and on point! The drinks were served ICE cold in these large, adorable mason jars. When we left they were setting up for their lunch buffet which looked so good! Don’t miss out on this one!

This is my kind of simple. I recommend you check out breakfast here for yourself.
Bright and friendly people run this place. There are no strangers here. The cook seems to prepare food to impress his own mother.
We will eat here every time we visit Freeport.
The ladies restroom was very clean. The men’s restroom could be cleaner (the only reason for not getting 5 stars)
I inspected the kitchen… Clean and organized!

Everything you could ask for in a morning after the beach breakfast place! Ladies are all so friendly, kind, and loved we had never been there before. Me and my husband routinely go to Freeport and have since we were kids but never checked out anything in the town. I got French toast and my husband got the chicken fried steak. All of it was so so good and tasted so home cooked. The strawberry jelly was for sure something dropped from heaven and I’m not sure if the syrup was name brand but it also tasted like it was touched by the ancestors!

I get the same thing every time I go in. Though I am sure everything else is delicious, as I am told by my family. But, the Chilaquilas is the best here, out of everywhere I’ve tried it so far. Best way is with 2 eggs, green sauce and beef.!

Delicious food at a very reasonable price. Totally a hidden gem. Not much to look at inside or out but the food is GOOD. I was there when it switched from breakfast to the lunch buffet and customers were literally pouring in. The place filled up in 15 minutes. Hardworking local men on their lunch breaks. That’s how you know it’s good. The only reason I knocked off a star was, the service wasn’t very….friendly or kind at all. We ordered the waffle and eggs and the migas.

Food was amazing, older building inside and out. But this place was very clean. My husband had the all American breakfast and I the chicken fried steak. Highly recommended this is a hidden gem. This is what was left!
