Holy smokes this place is AMAZING! Legit so happy I stumbled across it one night while running errands. The owner was so wonderful and warm, and was so generous with the portion, he even and gave me extra oxtail gravy no charge. The oxtail was incredible, and the reviews are true- the sweet plantains were amazing. Beans and rice were so comforting, and this will be in my rotation now for sure.

We’d been eyeing this place since it was under construction and finally got a chance to stop in tonight. Super friendly owners who will help you navigate the menu. They recommended the turkey in sauce which was incredible. The signature sweet plantains were the best I’ve ever had. Cant wait to try more of the menu!

Wow. The best oxtail in the area,. The rice was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The Griot was fried perfect and not to dry. They have this warm sweet and spicy condiment that I think has habaneros and pineapple . All of this delicious food was matched with the biggest smiles and warm hospitality. Today was their opening day and I wish them all the success. I’ll definitely be coming back.

I ordered the vegan legume meal with rice, and I was really disappointed. The legume had no salt or flavor at all, and the texture was extremely soft, almost mushy, like it was made for someone with no teeth. The rice tasted cheap and wasn’t seasoned either. The only thing I actually liked were the plantains. I ended up throwing the rice away, as shown in the picture.
I’m giving this place one star. If you’re really hungry, I wouldn’t recommend coming here. Their food quality feels like a 50/50 chance—sometimes okay, sometimes really bad. I expected much better.

After driving past here everyday for the past couple of months and being teased by the sign and the incredible Instagram posts, our anticipation to try this spot could not have been higher. When expectations build it’s easy to be let down but our new found family at Caribbean hut take out have not come close to letting us down yet. We are met with the best smelling food and the biggest smiles everytime we walk in. We’ve been three times since they opened and every bite has been perfect. Our personal favorite is the griot with the rice and peas and sweet plantains but trust you gotta try everything. I don’t care if you live 5 minutes away or 5 hours away this spot is worth the trip. Looking forward to our next meal here everytime we leave. If you are having a hard week, come here, get a plate, and your soul will thank you. Trust me. Got our dog hooked on it tonight too.

I got take-out from The Caribbean Hut this time and I was so impressed with Dante, who guided me to the best pairing for entree’s and sides for me and my friends. The Oxtail, Beans and Rice, Sautéed Veg and the Mac N Cheese were all my server Dante promised and more!

The portions were plentiful, rice was the best ever, and the chicken literally just rolled off the bone. I couldn’t pick it up and take a bite it just came clean off. Definitely comfort food but still loads of flavor and they’re super nice in there
