Social Profile:

Peter Lombardi took his pizza making talents to the road when he started Lombardi Pizza Co. as a mobile business. As he gained popularity with his food truck, he decided to open up the first brick and mortar LPC in Martinsville, NJ in the fall of 2013. Pete believes that true Neapolitan pizza should be a balance of all its ingredients. The tomatoes should be bright. The mozzarella–salty, sweet, and creamy. The basil- aromatic and vibrant and the olive oil should bring it all together with a delicate finish. The dough (flour, water, salt, yeast- that’s it!) should be soft and chewy within yet the crust should be crisp and blistered by the flames of the wood fired oven. We hope you enjoy!

Would not suggest takeout due to the portion size. $24 for this small pasta. Hopefully the dine in sizes are better. Good food but not that good for this price

As a pizza purist, I have come to this place many many times as their pizza is among the best I have ever tried. I even went to Una Pizza in NY and in my option this pizza is close, if not better in some ways!

The one thing I would recommend though is to EAT THE PIZZA HOT! otherwise it (and all other neopolitan pies) turn into cardboard when cold.

Amazing service and atmosphere, overall 10/10, would come again.

This is real neoploitan pizza.

Overall, we had a great experience here for date night! The marg pizza was delicious, and the whipped goat cheese toasts was truly one of the best toasts like that I’ve ever had.
The cacio e pepe was interesting, the sauce was very runny and not what I was expecting. Next time, I’d try the creamy pesto pasta instead.
The experience as a whole was very good!

Loved the pizzas and cozy ambiance!.. we ordered the buratta pizza and the Bella pizza. Both were delicious, esp the Bella!.. bread was ok, but the rest of the food made up for it! We were two adults and two kids. Two pizzas, 1 serving of bread and one appetizer was more than enough to serve 4 ppl.

Very good personal pizzas, however, they are not served on Monday’s. They have a big selection of white and red pies. I had the Bella, which is caramelized onions, mushrooms, and gruyere cheese. BYOB. 4 stars because the pizza came out with some char on top, which I am not a personal fan of.

One of our favorite Neopolitan pizza places around. Margherita is a staple, but all of their pizza is amazing. Do yourself a favor and stop in here when in the area. You won’t regret it!

I had high expectations for their pizza because of all the 5 star reviews. Overall it was just mediocre in my opinion. It wasn’t great, but it wasn’t terrible either. We had the Hadley pizza and the Ellie pizza. We both agreed that the Hadley pizza was much better than the Ellie. The Hadley pizza was good, but it could of been much better. It said it was suppose to be topped with goat cheese, but you couldn’t taste any goat cheese at all. Overall the pizza was still good. The Ellie pizza wasn’t that good. The kale on top didn’t taste good on top of that pizza. The cheeses they used didn’t taste high quality at all. The dough wasn’t chewy or tasty either. It definitely wasn’t worth the drive for us, but it’s decent if you live in the area.

Had dinner with 6 friends on Saturday night. We made reservation for 6pm and we had to leave at 730 because they had another party for our table. Restaurant is small but atmosphere is very nice. It’s byol and waiter immediately asked if we wanted our bottles opened. There were a lot of great options for individual sized pizzas. I had the Adriana and shared some of the Hadley. Both were very tasty. Pies were freshly made to order. We also shared the Caesar salal between 5 of us. Everyone was very nice and accomodating. Food came out pretty fast. It was a little bit difficult to find but you can look for food truck parked out front or piles of wood. There was some outdoor seating and most of the parking is in the back. I highly recommend and look forward to going back!

A gem of a restaurant in down town Martinsville. Feels like the pizza is straight from Italy. Fresh ingredients, flavorful, and always delicious. The rice balls and truffle fries are amazing. One of my all time favorite restaurants. Ever !

Amazing food, I swear everything you order will be good. My favorite is definitely the maple bacon pizza however it runs out very quickly. Just be careful because sometimes they slightly burn the pizza but to prevent that you can just ask for it not to be burnt. From two years of eating here we’ve never been disappointed when eating their pizza.
