We had the opportunity of trying many appetizers like the lobster bisque and dynamite shrimp as well as the calamari. All were so delicious!! We were able to try a sample of the soup before deciding which was super helpful. We also had the Fish and Chips as well as the Bourbon street Redfish. I’ll have to say the Fish and chips ended up being our favorite. Such a classic done well and fresh for really all and the ingredients had a very fresh taste. The Hibiscus Margarita was the drink of the month and truly was so much better then I could’ve imagined. Definitely somewhere worth checking out. Overall one of the best experiences we’ve had with very reasonable prices!
Both the dishes we ordered – the fish n chips and the Redfish from the specials were made from scratch and with freshest of fresh seafood!
And both were cooked to perfection. Not oily not overdone or dry, just correctly done!
The Dos Equis was served with a chilled glass of beer which was highly appreciated.
The place was quite empty for an afternoon but there was a quiet stream of regulars which kept coming thru’
Anna our server took care of our order with courteousness that exemplifies the service you can expect here.
Drinks were good, but the food was great! We had Crab Cakes, dozen Oysters, the Fish Plate of the Day and the Fish and Chips. Everything was delicious. Even our daughter basically licked her plate clean.
Definitely recommend.
The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between casual and slightly upscale, making it feel comfortable while still special enough for a night out. Pricing felt fair for the quality, and everything came out fresh and well-prepared.
I’d definitely recommend Anaya’s Seafood for either a relaxed date night or a family dinner. I’ll be back.
We started with the crab cakes which were amazing little to no bread crumbs if they were just fabulous. We both ended up getting the parmesan crusted flounder with garlic roasted mashed potatoes and veggies. They were hands down the best garlic mashed potatoes I have ever had.
The fish was light and really well cooked.
The drinks were happy hour prices in absolutely delicious. I wish I could remember the name of the one that I got because it was amazing. Maybe something like the dilemma?
When you are new to the restaurant they give you a tiny little sampling of their soups.
Oh my goodness they were amazing! My friend and I kept looking at each other like what the hell these are fabulous. The poblano soup, the clam chowder, the crab bisque!
