Dragon Bowl is within a mile of my home and tonight called for takeout. The entire voyage took me 15 minutes to get in, out, and home. When you walk into the tiny “lobby” it’s like you are entering into a scene from squid games. It really sets in when your host pops out from behind the curtain to take your order.
We chose to try the beef n broccoli and sesame chicken w/ white rice. I also ordered a matcha bubble tea which was excellent but a little on the sweet side in my opinion. My favorite by bar was the beef n broccoli which had a pleasant deep level flavor. My FINAL TAKEAWAY is VERY MID-LEVEL VIBES from quality of food to service. Prices are dec. ($27 & change for my 3). Be sure to pay attention to their coupons. In one case if you spend $25 you can get an order of orange chicken for $1.

Will come back if I’m heading south on may avenue on my way home, hungry, in a pinch for time, and craving a matcha tea.

I’ve order food here three different times and egg rolls are mushy, food mediocre at best & expensive. Today I bought a crab salad which was imitation crab (4 pieces) thrown on top some iceberg & $8. The only item I’ve found to be good is their passion fruit tea but don’t ask for boba because it never has it.

This place has changed hands several times. With each sale the food has gotten worse. I ordered Mongolian beef, which is my go to. It was down right AWFUL!!! It didn’t look like Mongolian beef nor did it taste like Mongolian beef. I took one bite, spit it out, and threw the whole thing away. It was a total waste of money!! I’ve not been back and don’t see myself going back.

There’s a china house just down the street. They’ve got my business now.

The place itself was good. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I did not notice that the sign said “Healthy Asian” . There was absolutely no flavor to this dish. I think healthy meant no MSG. Missed the mark. The kumquat lemon tea was fantastic. Not worth $6 though. Rice was perfect. And getting two free egg rolls for spending $15 is legit. Those were great.
