This place is absolutely worth a visit—especially on Sundays for the birria. The food and drinks were outstanding. The service was amazing; the staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely enjoyable to talk with. We loved chatting with them about the menu and their recommendations. The cocktails were top tier and perfectly crafted. Everything about this experience felt thoughtful and welcoming. I definitely recommend this restaurant and will absolutely be back.

The experience here was top-notch. From the moment we walked in, the staff was attentive and welcoming. The food was truly amazing—every dish was prepared perfectly. If you enjoyed La Cheve Bakery and Brews, consider this your must-visit next stop. A phenomenal restaurant!

Had the chance to finally try it out last night, and it was worth well worth the visit. Sat at the bar and started off w/ a carajillo which was prepared well. For food I had the enchilada stack with some added arrachera, it was really delicious and reminded of my parents cooking. If you like a mildly spicy margarita you need to ask for their Los compadres cocktail. The service at the bar was great

Con Amor Botanas y Tequila is a high-impact, flavor-forward concept that delivers immediate ROI on enjoyment. The menu is tightly curated, execution is confident, and the agave program is clearly a core competency—not an afterthought. Expect bold, shareable botanas that punch above their weight, balanced by cocktails built with intent rather than theatrics.

This is a strategic stop for after-work drinks, date night, or pre-dinner momentum—low friction, high satisfaction. The tequila selection is purposeful, the food is crave-driven, and the overall experience aligns well with repeat visitation.

Bottom line: a must-try for anyone prioritizing quality, energy, and flavor clarity over gimmicks. Worth bookmarking and revisiting.

I wish I had found this spot sooner, but still a fantastic spot serving food you wish your mom cooked as a kid. Every single employee was a good hire it’s obvious there is a sense of team and they know their offerings inside and out. The interior vibe is like being in a smaller Mexican town on dia de los muertos at night. I loved it. The food was impeccable and the menu has a lot of options without getting into that overwhelming territory that a lot of Mexican American restaurants find themselves in trying to make everything a customer could want. Most customers would prefer even just a handful of options that are done with intention and care. They hit the sweet spot in my opinion. I called in an order for pickup after 11:00 pm and they accommodated me and even asked how far away I was so that they could time my food to make sure it wasn’t sitting in a takeout box getting cold which is another simple thing but really is quite hospitable. The second I saw the cocktail garnishes the bartender was organizing I knew I was in for a treat and even tho they were having an employee meeting and they already took my order after close they let me get one of their house cocktails. I have never once enjoyed mezcal because of the smokey medicinal taste it can often have but this was something different. The orgeat and lemon cut right through that campfire taste I was expecting and truly shocked me. Bartender was very friendly and even educated me on a few historical points about various offerings. I have very high standards in my profession and I can often set my expectations to high and end up let down but it has restored my faith in humanity seeing someone want to actually be good at their job. I think it became obvious how excited I was and the chef didn’t blink twice when I pleaded to add a dessert to my order now an hour after close when they had every right to turn me down or suggest I come back to try dessert. They will not be needing to suggest I come back Ive already planned a date night with my better half so I can truly test just how accommodating they are when I ask if I’m too old for them to adopt me.

I am also glad I ordered a few things because it was worth every penny. I don’t think the prices are too crazy considering the cost of living in the area and they are competitive with other places in the area. I did pay the price the next morning after literally licking the plate clean because I’m sensitive to spicy food but nobody to blame for that but myself, I knew what I was doing. the sopizza was really good and the masa had beautiful texture. I had mine with steak on top and they slice it nice and thin so when you take a bite it doesn’t yank the whole serving off and was tender with a delicious and complex marinade. I also had a shrimp dish with potato’s and corn, luckily I waited til I got home to eat this one because I would’ve looked like a caveman as I ignored the silverware and chowed down barbarian style. Portions were generous. Desert was next level. The pan (bread) was like a doughnut, challah bread, and a Hawaiian roll all had a more mature child which came with a fantastic hot arroz con leche type deal that wasn’t overpowered with stale cinnamon. It was creamy and I am going to admit I ate the entire thing in my car before I left the parking lot and talked myself out of running back to the restaurant and begging for a second serving.

Can’t wait to return to this spot, i think I’ll keep their menu on my fridge and cross out different offerings as I work my way through the menu. Better be quick about it though I have a feeling they rotate their offerings often. The name of the place is perfect too because you can really feel the love. I would add photos but I don’t think the takeout box do it justice so next time I’m in for sit down I will add some pictures of my order and D

Edit:
I added a photo but I did it reluctantly and only because I’ve been having dreams about this dish and you CANNOT judge it by the photo because I manhandled the heck out of the container before opening it up.

We’ve been waiting for months for Con Amor to open. To my wife and I, it was well worth the wait. It’s a Tequila bar that has some fantastic food. The bar has some very innovative drinks, mainly with Tequilas and Mescals, all the ones we tried were very good. The small plates taste fresh and light and are big enough to share. They put a twist on the traditional, homemade Mexican food. We ask a lot of questions to the waitstaff. They all were happy and excited to answer, even the dumb questions.
Con Anor is a hit right out of the gate.

Amazing ambiance and even better drinks! Cinthia, the owner, always goes above and beyond to make sure every guest feels taken care of. The staff is incredibly attentive, and everything from the cocktails to the food is delicious. The flautas and gorditas were my absolute favorites—just a heads-up, the flautas are so popular they can sell out fast!

I stopped in for a quick birthday drink and ended up staying for several more . They even surprised me with the cutest birthday shot!

Whether you’re visiting from out of town, celebrating something special, or just looking to have a fun night out, this spot is an absolute must. Highly recommend!

The concept is nice, but the service, drinks, and food were zero. We ordered 3 desserts and drinks. The place is extremely expensive — desserts were $20 each, while a concha that normally costs $1, and the pan de muerto was hard and tiny. The chocolate flan was served separately, and the mini flan was just as small.

It took them 30 minutes to give us a table that was already free. We were 6 people, but they seated 4 at the table outside and 2 separately, yet when it came time to charge for the “big party” service, they counted all 6. The drinks tasted horrible and were overpriced.

I never understood why it took so long to get a table — the place is tiny, they clearly couldn’t accommodate us, yet they had 2 hostesses working. I would never go back. Afterwards, we went to Scala, which I highly recommend — same prices, but real, delicious dishes.
