This is THE place to get the best chai in town. I don’t know what they do, but it tastes amazing. They also have the best hot cocoa too.
The staff are all friendly and rarely make mistakes and the one time it did happen, she was quick to help me get it fixed.
Not only do they make great drinks, they are fairly priced as well. A big bonus in the current financial market.

Always a nice stop. They have hand made sandwiches on home made bread that they bake on site along with multiple varieties of other fresh baked breads and rolls. We had a full nelson sandwich, which you choose the type of bread , meats, ,cheeses, condiments and served hot or cold. I had a Turkey, pepperjack, sprout, banana peppers on sour dough also a cup of loaded potato soup. After that the fun part is going through the deli/ store that is attached. Best part is it is only 4.3 miles from the Kootenai casino.

Come here for the baked goods. The maple bar was amazing. The coffee is self serve and basic. Unfortunately i got behind a woman adding a dozen small half and half’s to her coffee and blocking it. The girl behind the counter was attentive but I felt like she just wanted to finish the transaction and get back to her phone. Prices on the baked goods are very reasonable for the quality and coffee is priced appropriately for what it is.

Bread Basket is always one of my first stops when I am in Bonners Ferry. Their donuts and fry pies are to die for. But their sandwiches and breakfast burritos are also really good. I would recommend the huckleberry fry pie or the maple donut. My wife enjoys their gluten free lemon poppy seed bread. Their prices are also very good. Go earlier in the morning to make sure you have great options. If not they sell out of stuff.

This place is legit. Service is kind. The bear claw is the size of an actual bear claw! And it is absolutely delicious!!! Some of the very best donuts around and I’ve eaten my share of donuts. Just the perfect balance of delicate and volume of the dough! Best maple bar I’ve ever had.
