Stopped by Roebling on my way to a concert in Brooklyn. This place absolutely rocks! It’s a tiny little hole-in-the-wall, but it’s definitely full of soul and puts out some really delectable sourdough pies and slices.
I ordered one cheese slice and one pepperoni slice. The sourdough crust actually comes through, which is awesome because sometimes that gets buried at shops that do their dough this way. The ratio of everything was perfect, and the sauce was exceedingly flavorful and paired super well with the crust.
It’s a humble spot, but it’s definitely worth checking out. They’ve got a lot of options for full pies, and it seems like you could have a fun date here or even a small gathering with friends on the right night.

It’s so tiny if you blink you’ll miss it. For the first time IN MY LIFE I saved my pie crust wrapped in a napkin to take home and slather butter and hot honey onto, it was that good. Normally that edge goes straight into the trash with the paper plate. I don’t care whose it is. But not today. Lovely, cosy spot. Sweet and personable staff. Come treat your taste buds!

A bit of a hole in the wall being in a more remote location, the slice pictured was great. I immediately detected a sourdough crust and it was a welcome change to other pizzas. The slice came out extremely hot to touch and I had to wait a few minutes before taking a real bite. Every bite had some crunch to it which was nice. Any saltiness wasn’t overwhelming or was the sauce noticeably sweet either. My complaint was that it may have been a little over burnt or dried out, but it did not compromise the slice.
I would gave this place a try especially for fans of a sourdough crust. It is bound to be less busy than some of the heavyweights nearby. They even had some interesting slices like a fig one.

I can say with full confidence that Roebling Pizza is the most delicious pizza I’ve ever had. The owner is always there, making sure the treatment is personal and the quality stays good, like, gooood! They have seasonal pizzas, which makes it hard to even keep track of what’s on the menu, but believe me, whatever kind they have is always insanely delicious.
And let’s talk about the crust, it’s sourdough, but not just any sourdough! It’s from a homemade starter, a family recipe, perfectly baked rounds of cheesy, flavorful wonder. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to a Roebling Pizza slice, you’ll probably never look at another NY pizza the same way again

Really special neighborhood joint. Always fantastic pizza and always a great time. The owner/chef seems to be an excellent and bodacious dude, who often experiments and produces some tubular specialty slices. I always drop in when I’m on that side of town, which is everyday, because I live on thag side of town. Always order a pie when I have friends over
