This place should be closed 4ever. I came for brunch and it took 1 hour to get my first plate. Not to mention the order was wrong and the food was cooked in old grease. My 2nd order took 2 hours to come. So while waiting I asked for a to go plate and I was fed up with waiting so decided to just go. The waitress caught me as I was preparing to leave. Order wasn’t really anything I asked for but i was just happy to leave. Worst place I’ve been to so far. I’ll rather go the nearest corner store rather than wait 3 hours for a hood meal

I thoroughly regret not taking a picture of the seafood Mac- it was gorgeous. All of the flavors were incredible and I had to force myself to stop eating because it was so filling. Our server Mia was so sweet and personable and the bartender was equally inviting. Will definitely be back for the brunch next time!

ALWAYS CHECK YOUR FOOD BEFORE YOU LEAVE!!!! I Just left 15 minutes ago, was my first time there and I WILL NOT BE BACK! I ordered a fish sandwich chicken Philly and a 4 piece crab ball. 1. I received salmon balls instead of crab like be forreal!!!! Who wouldn’t notice that! They looked discolored and funny looking 2. My fish was barely done! The dark spots on the fish you see in the picture is the old bay! 3. The atmosphere was awful all types of riff raff walking in and out and around the establishment like I seen all these good reviews and really wanted to like them but bro they really played in my fast and I told them I was a first time customer! Smh it’s hard to support your own sometimes I tell ya

I found this location on social media and took my mother and father in-law to support this locally owned business. As you walk into this establishment it’s overstimulating. In the small area where you order your food they had Christian music playing and right at the door to their dining room they had r&b music playing. The young lady that took my order was a sweetheart however, I was told that my food would be ready within 15-20 minutes and it took an hour to receive room temperature food. I ordered fried fish with string beans and fried potatoes and I was displeased to say the least. The top two pieces of fish were heavily seasoned with pepper and garlic powder and while the bottom piece of fishes tasted like flour and oil. The “fried potatoes” were overly seasoned with what seemed like some type of red peppers and very disappointing. When I inquired about my order after 45 minutes, I was told that they had to make more collards. No one communicated that they had ran out or I would have chosen another side. After waiting an additional 15 minutes for the collards, they looked as if they had been sautéed in water. Overall the food presentation wasn’t what I had expected and to see so many others were having the same experience today was very displeasing. I attempted to speak with the lady who stated that she was just the “bartender” about the importance of communicating with the customers about any changes due to time restrictions that people often have and it was met with disregard and excuses. Due to the lack of consistency of the food, lack of communication I would not recommend this establishment to my friends and family.

Let me tell you right now. Hands down, one of the best around and my new lunch spot. There’s nobody competing with them and this coming from a southern guy born and raised who knows food. I never tasted anything up here so good since I been here. I advise and highly recommend if you want a smile on your face and a full belly, this is the place.
