It’s a great home-style cooking taste for a Pakistani restaurant in this area. Great tasting food at very reasonable prices. The spacing is a little tight but well worth it.

A small family restaurant that serves Pakistani cuisine, Indus Grill has only gotten better each time we’ve visited. The food is absolutely incredible and the staff are friendly and helpful. We felt quite welcome in this small local eatery.

They were also very helpful when it came to sorting out potential allergy issues, and we had no surprises when the food came. (Other than it being even better than we remembered from past visits.)

I’ve been to Indus grill many many times. It was one of my favorite lunch spots. The restaurant was recently sold and the service has declined considerably. Both times I went there after it was sold, I had to wait at least 15-20 minutes even when I called in advance and was told it would be ready. The recipes have also changed. I also had a very unfortunate thing happen the first time, but I still gave them another try (I will not describe it on this platform as my aim is not to hurt the business). I love ordering the paratha rolls for lunch. I noticed about $2 increase in the price and it is significantly smaller and less tasty. I don’t think I will be ordering from them anymore. In the off chance I do, I will update this review.

I decided to try this place based on the good reviews. I got one of the skillets and coffee and both were great. My friend got the waffles which was drenched in syrup and the waitress took it off our bill, which was nice of her.
My complaint would be about the attitude of the woman standing in front. First, she told us we couldn’t sit down until all our party was there and when paying for the bill, she said that we couldn’t split the bill unevenly. Her tone was unappreciated in general. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend coming here with a party.

The food was decent, we had the chicken Tika Masala and the Lamb Stew. Not very spicy, rather sweet. More “Americanized” than I was expecting for sure.

The waitress was sweet and we didn’t have to wait.

Note that rice and naan are NOT included, so the prices are above average.

It’s a shame, it’s a cute little place but there’s better prices and more authentic restaurants not too far from there.

Nice !

A nice restaurant with authentic Pakistani Food.

We ordered the Peshawari Karahi, Kabab Karahi & Nihari from the entrees. The Karahis were good but the Nihari was average. The Mixed Grill and Beef Chapli Kabab delicious as well. The Naans were super.

The Kulfi was very tasty. In the end we had the Kashmiri Chai & Mint tea which were good.

The place is small, but well kept. The wash-room like many Indo-Pak restaurants needs improvement.

The prices are quite competitive.

All in all, a great place with delicious food!

Stopped in here with a friend around 3:00pm and we were still able to order the lunch menu items. I ordered the paneer and the palak dishes which came with naan and basmati rice. Everything was impeccable. I am not a huge fan of spice and they cooked to order with a lower levewl of spice. Naan came grilled and the rice was season very well. I would very much recommend the food and the environment here.

This place is SO GOOD!! Everything is so fresh and delicious, and (don’t tell them) inexpensive. We’ve been here probably more than 10 times now–it’s become our default dinner place. A previous reviewer mentioned that rice was not included, and that is true, but everything is so inexpensive, you can add on whatever you’d like to your meal, and it still comes out cheaper than you would expect (my husband and I usually get more than we can eat for $20 and add a generous tip).

I recommend the Chicken Leg piece for anyone who’s not sure if they like Pakistani/Indian food. Make sure to get the Zeera rice–it’s definitely enough for two people, but it’s so good you may not want to share. I also recommend the garlic naan, which is very fluffy and spicy, and if you just want some tasty hot bread, the tandoori roti is excellent. There are a lot of options for vegetarians too, plus everyone’s favorite standard indian fare, but better!

The service is pleasant, although you can definitely tell it’s family run. You can also BYOB. Overall, this is probably my favorite place in HP.

Great quality Indian food for a reasonable price. Chill atmostphere. Plenty of amazing vegetarian dishes. Only complaint is that they don’t automatically give you rice with your meal the way most Indian restaurants do.

I didn’t think my chicken Tikka Masala was anything special. The fact that they charged extra for rice made it overpriced at close to $20.
