Just got delivery. Best general tsaos chicken I’ve ever had. It was actually spicy, fresh. Rice both pork fried and white were delicious, along with the egg rolls. Keep it up!

We ordered over $150 worth of food from Bamboo Garden (totaling $175 with tax, tip, and delivery) the day before New Year’s Eve, 2025 through the Grubhub app. The delivery was on time and the driver followed instructions to a tee. Unfortunately, that was the best part of our experience.
Most of Bamboo Garden’s food was absolutely horrible and we ended up tossing out just over half of it… in more ways than one. Several of the appetizers we ordered were great, like the Boneless Spare Ribs, the Beef Teriyaki, and the Chicken Wings. But the Egg Rolls were crunchless, dry, and chewy while the filling for the Crab Rangoon had somewhat of a sour taste (We’re pretty sure that it was the soured cream cheese what made us sick a few hours later).. Sadly, one would be hard pressed to find any beef (or flavor) in the Beef Fried Rice which was so light in color, we nearly mistook it for White Rice. Likewise, the Chicken Chow Mein was over cooked, tasteless, and conspicuously lacked the main ingredient (chicken). On the other hand, the Pork Fried Rice and General Gau’s Chicken were fairly good, but just so-so compared to other Chinese and Asian restaurants in and around the Manchester area.
All in all, Bamboo Garden skewered us in the end with a meal that was mostly lackluster and made us sick on a day we should have been celebrating with family. Instead, we were all left ailing and in no mood to socialize other than to share opposite ends of the sofa.
I still can’t think of Bamboo Garden’s Crab Rangoon without my stomach turning and we will never, ever order from them again.

I’ve been ordering from you guys since my parents raised me! I’ve lived in the Bronx on and off for many years and this place has to be the closet I can get to them! Any time I switch up and order from some where else I truly regret it. You guys are amazing and whatever non accent personwho picks up the phone takes me by surprise every time but he is the sweetest and always works with my Accommodations because DoorDash won’t allow me to edit things! Not discrediting the ones who do have accents he just took me by surprise and did as amazing as this whole family has treated me for 15+ years ❤️

My spouse and I order from here regularly. The staff is always pleasant and the food is very fresh and hot. Best fried rice in the area, same with crab rangoons. Other items lack consistency. So flavors can vary day to day depending on who makes it. It’s not a large variation but noticed. Admittedly you don’t go here for the atmosphere, it’s a pick up only spot. We will continue to order here. I wish they still offered delivery outside of Doordash or other such delivery app.

Amazing food. I am very particular when it comes to Chinese food and not often do I leave a review whilst still in the middle of eating. But it was that good, I needed to make sure I didn’t forget. Place is clean, staff welcoming and friendly. Very fast service. Food was very hot and fresh! 100% recommend!

Finally a Chinese takeout that isn’t fusion-this-or-that! Tastes the closest to NYC style. Absolutely hilarious that we could not find dumplings on the menu, but realized that’s what “fried ravioli” was. I ordered via UberEats, and it came packaged neatly in a nice fabric bag. Generous delicious portions!
Update: 5 star to 2… sadly their cook isn’t consistent with seasoning and sauce thickness. I now understand the reviews referring to bland flavor. Now I keep getting watery sauce of no flavor it was only delicious the first time…
PSA to the guy complaining about his chow mein- that veggie type is super old school, only made like that on the East Coast. Doesn’t come with noodles because it’s “Americanized”. I feel your pain, it’s the same thing in the tristate area, unless you go to a heavily Chinese populated town. The more you know

Will they ever be able to create a Chinese dish like the ones Puerto Ricans make?

The food was average. The people are polite and the place is also very clean. You get a good amount of food for the price so all in all, it was okay. It wouldn’t be my 1st choice for Chinese in the Manchester area but its certainly better than many of the other places that I have tried. I think the pork fried rice and chicken lo-mein could have had more meat in them. Everything else was decent.

The food is super good in here since I moved to Manchester a few years ago this is my go-to place. The waiting times sometimes can be long but when you taste the food is all worthy! Love it here!
