An incredible, authentic spot for comforting Korean soups. We have frequented the Duluth location, and the Suwanee location is just as good. The kimchi and other banchan are super fresh and deliciousz I highly recommend trying the pork soup for a very hearty, warm meal. The soup is rich and can be customized to your liking with salt, pepper, and other toppings. The bowl is also filled to the brim with meat. We also really enjoyed the handmade meat and kimchi dumplings to share. If you’re looking for a remedy to the cold winter days, Moo Bong Ri has the perfect meal!

Ah… amazing… that’s how I felt after my meal! My wife and I came for lunch before we went back on the road and I’m so glad we did! Everything we ordered was amazing and cooked to perfection! What was even better is how the owner and servers explained every dish down to the source of the meat. Truly a great experience! MBR has become a family favorite for us, and we order from there consistently. The spicy mixed soup with soondae and sliced meats is my go-to — rich, flavorful, and always satisfying. My wife loves the cold buckwheat noodles and their bossam.
It’s one of those reliable spots that’s solid whether you’re dining in or bringing it home. The takeout packaging is done well and keeps the food fresh and tasty.
The waitstaff are always kind and accommodating. On one visit, they even gave a complimentary bowl of soup for our baby, which was such a thoughtful gesture.
The food tastes clean and well-prepared — we feel comfortable sharing parts of our meal with our baby (just not the spicy dishes, of course). Overall, a dependable and welcoming place that we keep coming back to.

We ordered the Seoul Bulgogi Hot Pot (서울 불고기 전골) from the Special section for two. The combination of mushrooms and bulgogi was outstanding, and we really enjoyed it. Next time, I plan to try the Pork Belly Kimchi Stew (삼겹살 김치찜). I saw the table beside us enjoying it so much that it made me want to return just for that dish. Overall one pleasant experience!!

This is the second Moo Bong Ri franchise location, with the original one in Duluth. While the Duluth spot is more focused on Korean BBQ (which can get a bit smoky inside), this Suwanee location specializes in soup-based dishes and cold noodles — and they do it really well.
The cold noodles are refreshing and flavorful, and the dumplings are some of the best I’ve had. It’s a great spot if you’re craving a lighter, more traditional Korean meal. I strongly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys authentic Korean comfort food!
