Love the GarHole! Have been coming here for live music for years, have seen many Texas artists perform here. We like Sunday evening concerts best (listening room style). Check their event calendar online for your favorite artists, or try someone new. Cocktails are great, and we usually get a burger and fries. Order food at the bar and they’ll bring it out to you. Spider and his team provide great service and everyone is always friendly. It’s definitely a family atmosphere. The building has tons of character and charm— it’s old but that’s part of the fun of coming here!

Fantastic Hole in the Wall country bar. This place is great local saloon. Sunday’s they have a singing circle. Bring your guitar and hang out. Enjoy a beer and burger!

This is a dive bar! Not in a bad way, just is by any definition the essence of the term.
Mountains of pictures and various memorabilia on every wall. You could spend hours snacking on great bar food, drinking cold beer, and just working your way around the place gathering tidbits of the history.
Live local music some nights, check with them.
If the Bartender is standing there looking at you seat yourself while you look around like a tourists wondering where the wait staff is, maybe you should walk over, placed your order and get a table order number. They will bring your food to the table. Keep the number, you will want more. And keep your tab open, you’re gonna need it.

The Gar Hole is a great dive bar located in an old historic bank building that was once robbed by none other than Bonnie & Clyde. It’s worth the trip to hang out, eat and have a cold drink or adult beverage (full bar) and get a bite to eat.
They have live music on the weekends so check their online music calendar to see who will be playing. It’s not a big venue so you’ll be up close to your favorite artist. Most artist will hang out afterwards and mingle with the customers giving you the opportunity for that perfect photo opt.
They serve typical bar food from a friendly staff who seem to enjoy their customers. I had the burger with tots ($11?) and it was good. You can also check their menu online.
Drive up for the day, have some good food, and relax listening to good music provided by good people. What more can you ask for?

We came here around lunchtime on a Saturday. First thing that happened when we walked in the door was us being greeted by friendly staff and shown how the place works; sit anywhere you like, order at the bar, and food will be delivered to your table.
We had the hamburgers, which you can dress however you like, and I added bacon to mine. The bacon was thick and probably the highest quality I’ve ever seen at a joint like this. We also ordered fries, onion rings and tater tots. All of it was delicious! Seriously, no notes.
We were politely checked on every so often to see if we needed anything, but between the people watching, popping tots, and sipping suds, we were both doing very well.
All in all, this is a great place to grab a beer & burger and kill an afternoon!

Stopped in on a Wednesday picking circle. Great vibe, they played songs from all across the music spectrum on acoustic guitars. This particular night they even had a HS kid sitting with them with his Tuba. He had a Tuba solo and played in songs with the group. It was a pretty cool evening. We didn’t eat, but the bartenders were great too.
