Came here with an empty stomach and now I’m writing this review full and satisfied. This is a must try. Head on in to get the family owned feeling, traditional service with amazing meat! I got the teriyaki chicken, and my girlfriend got the tri tip sandwich. The beans were hot! The Mac salad was super good, and most of all the chicken was super tasty, I tried one of the sauces and it just hits way different than some regular food. Got to support your local food chains, and if you’re doing that come here.

Sammy’s is some really good Barbeque! Who ever is cooking in the back has got some great talent! We stopped by for lunch and we got the tri tip. So good!! They had some good shows on the TVs football, and spongebob and had some good music playing too. Cozy little spot in the middle of Eureka! If you are passing through, or if you live here in Eureka, stop by. Its good.

The tri tip is FIRE and the sauce is deadly good. This place is doing it all right. I love the hometown feel in here too. Lots of space being your family. If your stopping by or haven’t tried it yet your missing out.

First time customer. It smells so good driving past I actually turned around and went back. Several issues. The girl who took my order clearly needs a refresher course in basic restaurant hygiene practices. The place needs some serious cleaning and updating. Someone’s togo order sat at the end of the counter in a bag. It just sat there. Getting cold. When I finally received my order, it was kind of a joke. Five dollar teriyaki bowl. Unfortunately, they used one piece of chicken for both teriyaki bowls. I clearly got shorted. It was kind of pink inside. I threw up about an hour ago. And I have quite literally been sick since I ate it. I’m still sick. I don’t think I’ll ever go back. And it’s sad too because I think it could be a good place to eat. But it needs help. I do not recommend it. At least not the way it is now. The place looks rundown. And from all outward appearances, I wasn’t even sure when I pulled up whether or not they were open, or out of business..

Sammy’s BBQ helped us so much! We needed catering for our wedding! Not only was Sammy’s affordable they offered incredible service and great food. Our guests loved it so much we took them to the restaurant two days later. Overall excellent food excellent service and really made our dinner special.

I’m a real fan of the Pulled Pork and the pineapple slaw. So good. Sammy’s is wonderful for the community. We love him and all he does. Sports theme inside. I very Happy to see him open after the pandemic.

The ribs were almost fall off the bone tender. The Kalua pork was juicy and tender. The tri-tip was done medium and tender. All three meats had a light smoke flavor. The Teriyaki Chicken was the best of show, tender and the most flavor. The potato salad was good but on the eggy side. The pineapple coleslaw is different and I liked it, it’s not made with mayo but is more tropical with just the pineapple juice. The french fries are the frozen variety, barely ok. The price was good, and we would definitely come back.

Amazing entrees, sides, service is awesome and food so fresh and fast. I love the potato salad! Tri tip and kahlua pork are juicy and tender, perfect. My dad loves the pineapple meatballs, and whole family was stoked about the chicken teriyaki and coleslaw with pineapple juice.
