I don’t typically go for fast food, but I’m so glad I stopped at Ono Hawaiian! I ordered the grilled chicken teriyaki, and it absolutely exceeded my expectations. The flavor was fantastic—perfectly grilled, tender, and loaded with that sweet, savory teriyaki sauce.
The portions were generous and satisfying, and every bite was delicious. On top of that, the service was friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better.
If you’re looking for something quick that doesn’t compromise on quality or taste, this place is a winner. I’ll definitely be back!

This review is based on their service and not their food. I ordered the BBQ Chicken and the person who took the order prepared a BBQ Beef order for me. I let her know I said chicken and she said “Give me a moment, we will remake that order for you”. Less than a minute goes by and she comes back with my order. I come home and I see that they didn’t replate my order, but instead just swapped the meats out! This is HIGHLY insane. I’ve never had beef in my life due to my faith and now I’m finding bits and pieces of beef in my food. Zero star service!!!!

Update:
We went again today and use the coupon, poorly customer service, I used the free fresh coconut,
the young Asian gentleman in the front gave me such a bad attitude, I let it go, and I waited for about two minutes, another girl call me number and take out the coconut, however, the coconut but juice spilled and she just said oh and walk away.
Future suggestions to the business does not want to give out free stuff, please don’t give away, because when I redeem it, workers gave a really bad attitude.
Really disappointed!

It took over 30min in the drive thru to get my food. The person taking my order was rude. When I got my order it was wrong, the vegetables were incredibly Over cooked and the meat was burned to a crisp. Picture attached for reference. $16 down the drain. WON’T BE BACK

Cook is awful. I ordered chicken kapsu and it was not properly cooked. It was still red and slimy inside. Switched for bbq beef and portion was kid size and not bbq flavor at all. My plate was fulll of grease I couldn’t eat it either. Overcooked vegetables as well. Compared to other sites this is the worst!!!

After the opening, this was a very pleasant place. Phenomenal customer service, good food, amazing people. However, lately something went downhill. Workers are extremely rude. I made a mobile order and they said that it will be ready in 15 minutes. As I arrived 15 minutes later to pick my food up, I had to still wait for about 20 minutes for my food. Got my to go box and left not checking what’s inside. As I opened it, the food looked like mashed potatoes. It was all smashed up and ruined. I was highly disappointed. It did not look appealing what so ever. When I came to get a refund, I had a very hard time reaching out to the supervisor. I’m highly disappointed with the service because they have some good food food.

I would give the food quality 5 stars, but the service and mistakes made it a lower rating. As if the pandemic were not enough, the registers went down. They were only able to take cash and due to the coin shortage had trouble making change. So I guess they got more tips. However, as a walk in, they wrote down my order and added it up on a calculator to witch I had 8 cents coming back. But she had to use a calculator to get to that number? Really this is how bad the young people are now. If they can’t get it on their phone, they are lost! Then they got my order wrong, or I got someone else’s and they forgot the sauce. Of course since it is take out only I didn’t discover the mistakes until I was home. And with no receipt I can’t even go back for a replacement. Like they would remember anything from an hour ago. Maybe I can give them a better rating next time.

Had the chicken katsu. It was really good. It was served over a bed of steamed veggies. The macaroni salad is one of the best, only wish they gave more of it. Overall, great place for Hawaiian BBQ.

Food is not very good. The meat is tough. The mac only really tastes like mayo. I got a single piece of broccoli in my “vegetables” which was just large chunks of cabbage that is traditionally used in other places to soak up the grease and is not really considered a side to a plate. Food is disappointing especially since there is a better Hawaiian bbq called JJ’s across the street.
