But when the bill came, the prices were way higher than expected. When we asked again, we were suddenly told Happy Hour only applied inside at the bar, not outside at the tables. That made no sense, especially because she could have told us earlier when we specifically asked. ♂️
In the end, they fixed the bill after we complained, which we appreciated , but this should be made clear from the start so guests don’t feel misled. ⚠️ Transparency goes a long way.
but then i got my order, the poke bowl, and it was genuinely so good. i never finish restaurant meals but this was so good i finished it in a few minutes. it was perfectly balanced… SOO good and warm
the service was great, our server was really sweet…. but i wish the other things we ordered were nicer also don’t order the tiramisu it made me sick
Boyfriend ordered steak and eggs. Should’ve been called salad and egg on toast with steak slices on the side because the steak was so small. Meat was good though.
I ordered the smoked salmon eggs Benedict which I didn’t know meant came with the ham AND smoked salmon and it was kinda crazy to spend $8 extra for two slices of smoked salmon on top but it was pretty good overall.
The lobster roll? BUTTERY PERFECTION! The bread it was served on wasn’t your standard lobster roll bread it was even better, and honestly made the dish unforgettable.
For drinks, the pornstar martini was a solid 10/10. Perfectly balanced and so delicious.
And the highlight of the night was definitely the service. Chantele was incredible sweet, attentive, and gave spot-on recommendations. Truly some of the best service I’ve ever had in Hoboken!
The only small thing I’d ask for is PLEASE start offering bottles or cans of soda. The fountain soda was flat, which was a bit disappointing compared to how amazing everything else was.
Overall though, this place is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back!
First and foremost, I watched someone working there pick their nose and then wipe it under a countertop at the bar and if I’d seen that BEFORE I got drinks, I would have asked for something in an unopened can…but I didn’t see that until after awhile and I was with coworkers so I didn’t say anything but EWWWWWWWWW
Also — I cannot BEGIN to express how truly MID.. at best.. the lobster roll was
What a sad excuse for a lobster roll
I want that hour and a half of my life back, and I DEFINITELY won’t be back ✌
