Mr. Delfino and the staff are so friendly and the food is absolutely AMAZE. When our order was wrong they immediately rectified it. This is my husband and I’s favorite spot for tortas and tacos.

El Maguey Restaurant is by far the Best Mexican restaurant I have eaten at thus far.
The service was excellent. The owner came by 3 times just to make sure everything was good.
I live in Wake Forest, NC and to be honest, I cam see myself and a friend driving back here for a weekend girl trip and bringing her to eat at this restaurant. Pfafftown, you are so lucky to have this restaurant. I hope you support them and keep them around for a long long time. .
Also, the margaritas were excellent too. I had 2 top shelf and hubby had 2 beers.
We ordered fajitas for 2 with beef, chicken,shrimp. Queso dip. Portion was huge. We both ate plenty and still took half home.

We had them cater an event recently and everything was fantastic! The food was hot, delicious, and there was plenty of it. The staff was super helpful loading it all into our truck, and the manager was so friendly when we placed the order. Highly recommend them for any event—or just stop in to eat. The food’s always good and the people are great!

This place is my absolute favorite Mexican restaurant in the entire area. The food is outstanding, the service is old school professional with the manager coming by to ask how was everything. The service is very fast and very efficient. My favorite dish is the Camarones Fundido it’s superb. It’s a cozy, warm and inviting place.

We have been coming here for years. The staff and management are friendly and always attentive. We have never had any issues with the food or service. Today I tried the Matzatlan Chicken. The flavors were all on point. 3 thin slices of grilled chicken with Sweet red peppers, crispy bacon and topped with a cheese sauce. It was accompanied by a side of rice, beans and lettuce with sour cream. I passed on the tortillas because I have to cut down somewhere. I love this dish but the chicken was a bit overcooked, probably because they are thin slices and come on a hot skillet. My daughter got her usual ACP which is always a big hit. My son got an ACP Texano which is an upgraded version with not just chicken but also steak, shrimp and lots of veggies. I stole one of his large shrimp and it was savory. My wife got a shrimp burrito and had no complaints. I highly recommend this place. The Latin music is a plus in the background, it’s not loud or low, just perfect background music.

I got an order to go recently and because I was in a hurry when I picked it up, I didn’t check the bag to make sure it was right…. When I got home I was missing a few things but when I called they told me it was no problem and wrote my name down and just said to let them know when I come back and they will replace the order for me. They did and I appreciate that kind of service. Plus their extra spicy house salsa is so earthy and delicious…. And hot !
