Ive been seeing this place off the beltway and wanted to stop and check it out. Ive had a hankering for some catfish and this place did not disappoint. Very friendly service and the fish and fries are definitely what I have been looking for. Some fried, perfectly seasoned catfish. The portions were big too. Even the fries were seasoned just right. I will definitely be ordering more of their menu and recommending to friends and family.

Very nice and hospitable people so the good of my review is for that alone. A+. The food, however, is a different story. This is NOT catfish. I am sorely disappointed. At best, it’s swai. As it was presented, it wasn’t white and flaky. The texture was a little off so I thought maybe it needed a few more minutes to cook. Cooked and all and still no white flake. That tells me one of two things – bad batch or it wasn’t catfish to start. I think the business is worth a try for something other than catfish but now I’m on the hunt for some flaky white.

Omg yaassssss! Finally some food that’s seasoned. I had the wings and fries and salad. Very seasoned chicken. I was very pleased. If you’re wondering what the chicken kind of taste like, I’d compare it to Frenchy’s but 10xs better. I will try their fish next time.

I love this place! The staff are humble, nice and friendly folks. I usually go on Fridays or every other Friday for the Fish plate with green beans. The fish is light flaky and not too salty like other places I’ve tried. They play good music on Friday’s that’ll make you move and groove. I have tried the boudin egg rolls which are an interesting concept that doesn’t disappoint. They are soooooooo good y’all with the sweet and sour sauce. You get a great combo of sweet, spicy and savory. Today, I tried the strawberry lemonade and it is “woo weee” sweeeet! Lol. I definitely would recommend stopping by and trying it at least once. There is a little something for everyone to enjoy. I promise you’ll be coming back for more! C’est bon!
