Ohh boyyy.. easily the best Afghan food I had in a recent while. I ordered chicken Tikka that came with yummylicious Qabili pulao rice. Tikka was juicy, very tender and perfectly seasoned. I also ordered Borani-Banjan which was freshly made and very flavorful. Last but not the least the doodh patti chaye with cardamom was out of this world. Only negative could be slow service so please be a little patient!

Absolutely delicious, well-seasoned food. Everything was fresh and savory. We started with the mantoo dumplings and loved them, too. We especially enjoyed the vegetarian eggplant and the Afghan-style naan. The mango lassi was also excellent — flavorful and not overly sweet. Service was a little slow, but it was worth the wait. We live close by and will be back to try other dishes in the near future.

NOT RECOMMENDED!
Unprofessional and rude behavior.
Uncooked chapli kabob, since last night my stomach acid is in sky.
They give 25 minutes to get but I pick it up in 1hr.
I trashed all the foods after eating a small portion.
They charged me 60$ bucks for a garbage meal.
The young gentleman who is on the front desk needs to be professional, respectful and someone needs to learn him morality.
Thanks

The food was delicious and service was great too. We loved everything we ordered. Good portions and meat was cooked in perfection. The eggplant dish was tasty too. Will be back.

Amazing authentic Afghan food. I got the vegetarian options of Borani Kadoo, Special pallow rice, and Lubya. All were above expectations in taste. This is my first time with the beans and they definitely should be tried by everyone. SO delicious

Got takeout, and the staff there was incredibly generous and kind! They offered to upgrade our rice for free, and I’m glad they did – it was sooo unbelievably aromatic! The chicken also blew us away- smokey, spiced, juicy, yet tender. It was my gf and I’s first afghan restaurant, and it was truly delish. Would definitely come again!

Great food. We tried the lamb shank and chapli, both are very good, although we like the chapli more. Interestingly the rice is different for each dish, which gives us even more symphony of flavors.

The service is nice snd friendly. A little slow to come out as these are slowly cooked, but we’re perfectly fine with it – good things are worth the wait

The prices may have been reduced as it seems lower than the older menu. Another plus!

Very good Afghan food, the food portions on the lamb tikka pieces were very small. The Qabili pallow portions were good tho. Food over all was pretty good there was a lot of mix up on our orders however they fixed everything right away and made sure to get our orders right! Also the Mantu was really good

Afte the shocking closure of Kabul I assumed that surely this place would step up and ensure that the Seattle area would continue to have top notch Afghan food. So much for reasonable expectations.

First off the location is in a sketchy strip mall. But did this place even attempt to make up for it with good atmosphere? They could have put up carpets and tapestries to cover up the huge glass windows and let patrons pretend they aren’t in the armpit of Washington, but no. We got a view of an abandoned Joann Fabric. And the interior looked like a tanning salon from 1986.

At each table were plastic bottles of store brand water, as well as hand sanitizer dispensers. The utensils were also at the tables in canisters rather than being brought with the food. It was a presentation I’d expect from a dingy teriyaki hole, not an Afghan restaurant.

There were two TVs playing a concert of what I assume was Afghan music. The music was fine but why not just have the audio rather than tacky TVs? Moreover, it played ADS.

After all of this I assumed the food must be amazing to make up for this. I was wrong. First off the portions of meat are TINY. It’s offensive how little they give you. Maybe they knew that the average jaw could not handle meat that tough for any longer. When they say “cooked to perfection“, already one of the most annoying menu clichés ever, clearly their idea of perfection is shoe leather.

The garlic sauce is inferior to that of Kabul. It’s just generic garlic sauce. I could make better at home.

My girlfriend went to use the bathroom and when she came back, she no longer had an appetite because it smelled so bad. She said it was the worst smelling bathroom she’d ever experienced.

I won’t cry any tears when this place inevitably goes out of business.
