We love their taco pizza! Only place you can get it! The beer selection varies and I don’t always find some I like though- they are heavy on the IPA selection. Sometimes the (young) person taking your order isn’t old enough to pour beer or acts like they eant to be there, so that can be a little frustrating. But we’ve been going here for at least 20 years though since we love their taco pizza! The place can get loud and crowded with kids and kid parties so something to keep in mind. They have tables, boothes and picnic benches to sit at on the restaurant side. There’s also a nice outdoor seating area off the bar that has a fire table.

Stopped by for a quick sandwich before the movies and I had a submarine, it was so delicious!
The toasted the roll and it had on it all the Italian deli meats, they could go a little lighter with the dressing the next time but all in all it was good and the staff were very nice.

This place has some serious nostalgia for me as there used to be one in Round Rock, TX 20 years ago. I make it a point to see if there’s a Lamppost anywhere near where I’ll be in California everytime I visit simply so that I can take a trip back in time.

The pizza remains just as good as I remembered and the staff were great.

This place is absolutely terrible. The food is decent. The costumer service is anything but decent. The bowl of spaghetti is supposed to come with a slice of garlic bread, but we didn’t get it. The spaghetti hardly had any meat sauce and the costumer service was plain out disgusting. I would not eat here if I was starving and this was the only food spot left on earth.

Pizza, wings and garlic bread were all good! A little pricier than other places though

After several visits, I feel it’s time to speak up about my experience here. While the food has consistently been great, the service has been just as consistently disappointing. On multiple occasions, my wife and family have been treated rudely by some of the women working the front. It’s disheartening to walk into a place and feel unwelcome, especially when we’ve continued to support the business.

I recently tried to address the issue directly by calling and asking to speak with one of the owners, David. After being put on hold for almost 10 minutes and having to call back, I was met with a dismissive attitude. I explained the reason for my call, only to be told he “had to get back to the kitchen”—a clear sign that the conversation wasn’t worth his time.

Again, the food has never been the issue. But when you’re regularly spending $120 to $140 per visit, a basic level of respect and professionalism from the staff doesn’t seem like too much to ask.

As much as I’ve enjoyed the food, I won’t be coming back. If you’re looking for great pizza with better service and a more welcoming atmosphere, I’d recommend Urbn Pizza down the street. The staff there are friendly, the drink selection is better, and the overall experience is far more enjoyable.

(Also attaching a screenshot of my call log, showing how long I was on hold—despite being told “the phone just rang.” That kind of response only adds to the frustration.)

I’ve always enjoyed the food here….
but after watching the recent video of the manager throwing the F bomb out at 2 female customers and telling them to shut up, I will not support this business anymore. Completely unacceptable and disrespectful.

Excellent beer. Best pizza in world! I have been eating lamppost since I was a kid. Still best pizza for 40 years! I come here every year on my birthday and love it!

11/2/18 – Another year! Still happy!

11/4/22 Another birthday year! Same staff! In fact, the first bartender’s son was born on the 11/4. When I arrive he greets me with “Happy Birthday!”. His son is now 6. I remember how stressed he was for his 2nd birthday party. 🙂 Thank you Lampost for the 40+ years of good pizza and memories.

Awesome staff and even better food. Get the twice baked wings – you’ll thank me later. Wings are huge and pizza is not shy on toppings. I love the Perfect Game! Enjoy friends!!

This has been our go to Pizza spot for our family. We celebrated my mom’s birthday last night and the food and atmosphere was great. We had a meat combo pizza (not my cup of tea), Hawaiian and Hawaiian with jalapeño, wings (which were huge) and their bomb salad. Great food, great time. And if you are more of a pizza and beer (or just drinking in general) this is a great spot too. Their outdoor area is pretty sweet and they have TVs everywhere.
