The best plate lunch! Very much a hole in the wall kind of place! There is a difference between a mini vs regular meal. Curry katsu and bbq chicken are a must try. Also if you like a classic Mac salad this place has it!

Limited seating options.

Ohana Dish is a fantastic small business that really deserves your support. When I visited, the owner appeared to be the only one working, and the service was absolutely amazing. It’s rare to find such personal and dedicated service these days.
I ordered the Chicken Katsu Curry, and it was great, flavorful and hit the spot perfectly. For anyone planning a visit, I definitely recommend getting a regular plate. The portions aren’t overly large, so the regular is the perfect size for a standard meal; only get the mini if you aren’t that hungry.
One very important thing to keep in mind is that they only take cash, so make sure to stop by an ATM beforehand. If you want great food and to support a hardworking local business owner, this is the place to go!

Had the fried fish namban mini, which was excellent, cooked to perfection. The menu here is similar to what you’d find in an L&L with some additional options from Kyushu. Essentially, it’s Japanese higher quality with smaller portion size, relative to a typical L&L. Definitely repeatable. Cash Only.

5/1/25 Update: Had the fried fish curry mini for $9.25. Excellent! Curry has genuine Japanese taste and fish was fried just right. Later, I’ll have to try Chicken Katsu Don, Tan Tan Mian, the Tempura Mix. You can taste the chef’s pride in cooking it just right.

Low key, some of the best japanese bentos out there. Definitely the most affordable. A bit of a wait during lunch hours. Cash only!

I’ve been coming to this place for a while because it’s on Fort street near my work. There are very limited options for food downtown now. Sometimes they are good and portions are good sized, but a lot of times they under portion & skimp or give less. It is very inconsistent & is upsetting when you get so much less some times. I have told the employees & they don’t seem to care. I don’t like getting cheated on food portions 40% of the time.

Brilliant little spot in China town. Has loyal customers because they offer delicious and financially accommodating food. From Japanese staples like Katsu Curry, to Hawai’ian classics like loco moco.
