Really Good BBQ Ribs! The Sticky Pig is a really great local restaurant. Everything we ate was delicious: Ribs were amazing, green beans had so much flavor, their burgoo — you just have to try it, coleslaw was best I have had in years! Very friendly staff.

Wow!! We found this little restaurant on Google maps. What a find!! The ribs were very tender and seasoned great! Even the gristle was edible. They’re very sweet with honey and brown sugar. The chicken and chopped pork were very tender also. The brisket was tender. We tried the mac and cheese. It was wonderful. It was very creamy. The bbq beans were great with onions in them. The peach cobbler was moist and very sweet. These folks make their own sauces also. Try all of them! They were all good! The staff were exceptionally nice and accommodating. I’d give this little gem of a restaurant 10 stars!

My fiance and I were passing through the area on our way up to Indiana and wanted to try some local eats. We both tried the ribs and he got the mac and cheese while I got the peach cobbler. The ribs were AMAZING, the meat literally fell off of the bone and all of their barbecue sauces tasted great! I thoroughly enjoyed the Carolina pepper sauce, there was a perfect balance of heat and flavor. The staff were also very welcoming and helpful. Will be trying to hit this place again on our return journey and any future drives!

The beef brisket was good and with the sauce it was great. The pasta salad was really good and the cole slaw was a different taste (it was really good on a brat). Sweat tea was really good. The main fault I have is common with BBQ places, meat and sauce on the cup, straw, etc. Just a little messy making a sandwich and then handling the items. Not a deal breaker, just something I noticed.
I will return when the opportunity comes.

Fantastic wood smoked food! Dave’s is unique as it has a drive through as well as dine in food. They also cater events! The dine in atmosphere is amazing. There is always some type of music playing; blues, bluegrass. Southern Rock. They have gift certificates available. There are no reservations needed. Theyaccept, cash, checks and credit cards. I have included 2 pictures 1 of the plate combo, which was a smoked prime rib!!!! OMG, 1st time ever having smoked prime rib . It was awesome! The prime rib melted in your mouth. I had the largest baked potato I think I have ever had! My wife and I even tried their mac n cheese. It was a white cheese with shell macaroni with BACON!!!! I will say, out of all of the restaurants that I’ve ever been too, Dave’s Sticky Pig has, by far, the BEST peach cobbler I’ve ever had!! Please go see them! Highly recommended! I even helped some travelers from out of town order one of the most enjoyable meals they’ve ever had! Ok, now onto their own bbq sauces. They have 7 styles, 5 of which are set out on all tables for you to try and enjoy. (See pic 2 of the 5 sauces) my favorite is their Memphis style bbq sauce. But of course, whichever you enjoy the most, is available for sale for $5.95 a pint jar. Well worth it! I’ve given some as a gift and it was very well recieved by the recipient. They have Tshirts for sale inside as well. The staff is knowledgeable on the types of BBQ’d meats they serve. They have brisket, meatloaf, bologna, chicken, pork and ribs. They have a daily special throughout the week which changes from Monday to Friday for meals and lunches. Their prices are reasonable and their servings are large! They also own a 2nd restraunt called The Lamplight which serves some of the same bbq foods, however has it’s own menu. I reccomend Dave’s Sticky Pig as a local to anyone locally, or traveling by. It’s worth a stop to taste great food! If you leave hungry, it’s your own fault!

I got the meatloaf, macaroni and cheese, and baked beans. The meatloaf was way too spicy hot for my taste. Others may love it.

I’m lucky enough that we were driving through and picked this place to stop and eat. Everything I had here was so delicious. I had a pulled pork sandwich, and shared Mac and cheese, ribs and their slaw with the other people I was with and everyone loved everything. My grandma also said their peach cobbler was very good too. The service was also very good as well.

Even though we are from Minnesota, we will be back when we come this way again!

Some good stuff!
The pulled pork and chicken aren’t as good as what I’d make at home, but they’re certainly very good. They have a ton of different sauces to try, which are all very well made to suit a variety of flavor palates. The brisket is pulled, which in most circles is considered overcooked, which may explain it’s somewhat musky bitter, although not entirely unpleasant flavor. The sides were decent. The people were nice. The sauces make this place though.

Best BBQ we’ve found in Kentucky since moving from Atlanta, Georgia (Fox Brothers will always be #1. You have to go if in Atlanta). Have only had the pulled pork so far but looking forward to trying everything else.
Pulled pork was flavorful and moist. Good selection of sauces available. The potato salad wasn’t my favorite but my husband loved it because it was THICK with mayo…just a bit too much mayo for me. The mac and cheese was delicious- not the runny cheese sauce kind you find in most places. Baked beans were also delicious-thick with pulled pork and a little sweet with a good balance of spices.
