As a local… tonight I was disappointed.
Food is always on point.. but an accident happened with my dog and drinks were spilt. Usually the staff would say we’ll refresh (as normal) then asked for bread to soak up the mussel Broth, no bread got charged for a full foccacia! Never happened before. Always been given bread…
And then 7 mussels were closed… so majority not able to be eaten.
This place used to be my local fave but this dining experience made me question it.. new staff? Not sure but not cool.

The food is ok, not amazing, felt like they have forgotten to add salt- once salt is added everything tasted better. I found their vongole pasta a bit overly oily.
Their fries were actually pretty burnt, I usually couldn’t stop after a handful of fries, but this time I had one and left it. Caprese salad was nice.

We had dinner at Zannini last week and enjoyed friendly hospitality. We had to sit outside as it was a Friday night and we didn’t have a booking but it was pleasant weather so we were more than happy to do so. I had the regina pizza which was pretty standard but definitely yummy and I’d be happy to go back for a satisfactory albeit nothing overly special meal

Lovely place. The staff is the most passionate I have ever met in Victoria. They always asked if we need any food and drinks, and found way to make sure our food served fast. They do care a lot about the food quality and customer opinion. The pizza tasted great, a memorable visit!

This was seriously the best pizza I’ve had in Australia. We’re from Sydney and have tried every place but this was maybe even better than Italy. Perfect light crust with the spots, amazing tomato and cheese etc etc. The crust was a bit chewy but also a bit crispy. Actually perfect.
