Originally from NY we were very impressed with the margarita pizza, the garlic knots and the cannoli. The sauce was very tasty and pasta was fresh. The staff was very friendly and we enjoyed talking with Tony and hearing his family’s story about their recipes passed down.

Wanted to try a new pizza spot and this one popped up with great reviews. It’s a small shop next to the IGA, with just a couple of tables inside. As first-time visitors, we would’ve appreciated a more welcoming greeting or even a quick rundown of the menu, but any lack of ambiance was completely overshadowed by *the sauce*.

The marinara was absolutely incredible—honestly one of the best I’ve ever had, and I eat a lot of pizza. The veggies were super fresh, the dough tasted fresh, and you can tell the ingredients are high quality.

The only real downside is that there’s no accessible restroom for customers—you have to walk over to the IGA. That alone would make us think twice about dining in, especially since they offer seating. I’ve truly never encountered that before.

That said, if you’re close by and looking for a great carryout option, definitely give this place a try. And that marinara? I’m still thinking about it.

My wife and I had the Margarita pizza and it was fantastic! The thin, crispy NY style crust was sooooo good! The garlic cheese bread was delicious as well. The owner, from New York City, was very courteous and told us about the history of the shop which only made the experience better. Can’t wait to bring friends and family here. Highly recommended!

Don’t skip the basil! There are three things I know about the food at Il Gusto: 1) the bread really elevates the chicken parm and the meatball parm subs (they are both worth ordering); 2) the basil makes the Bruschetta pizza sing (if they forget to put it on, take it back, as it is not the same without it); a cannoli for dessert is definitely a great choice. Will definitely order from again!

Wife and I came in for lunch and had delicious pizzas. So much better than chains like LaRosas. Crust was very nice. Not under cooked and floppy in the middle. Pizza had the right amount of toppings. Sauce was flavorful. Staff was attentive and friendly. Will def be back when in the area!!

What a blessing to have this wonderful family owning Italian restaurant here in Deer Park! The food is fresh and makes you feel like you’ve died and gone to heaven with every bite! Pizzas are amazing with fresh ingredients and crispy crusts. Their Il Gusto special is always a WIN! I’m in love with the family…couldn’t be sweeter!

Food was served fresh and hot! So hot, that I burnt my hands and legs. I would suggest putting cardboard underneath the spaghetti plate. Other than that, it was cooked to order, fresh and was so good, I forgot to take a pic. Very good size. The meatballs, honey the meatballs! This is real Italian food. The Italian dressing was a no for me, but the salad was fresh and good nevertheless.

I don’t usually give five stars but after my first time experience, I can say it passed expectations. The garlic rolls weren’t too much but had more than enough flavor making them precise in ratio, the margherita pizza was extremely fresh with nice melting cheese and very delicious sauce to go with it. The staff were extremely friendly and welcomed our arrival better than most locations I’ve been too, even going out of their way to check on us all the way through. Not too mention the amazing atmosphere that’s like stepping into a small slice of Italy. Would recommend to anyone wanting a more New York food style experience in Cincinnati, Ohio.

This place is a little small, but has everything you need! OMG. the pizza is absolutely amazing. I got pineapple and black olives and it was perfectly made. Nive thick crust, perfect amount of sauce and cheese. The toppings were not light at all! Excellent! Here are pictures of our pizza’s…nice open kitchen so you can see everything. We were checked on several times to make sure everything was good. Highly recommend!

Our first time dining-in, and we were sold! Got the Margherita, and, wow, what a nice change from the usual chains in Cincy area! Crust was crispy, sauce was sweet and the cheese and basil were super fresh. The whole pizza was super fresh, and we didn’t get sick after eating it – real ingredients! Meatballs especially tender and the sauce just makes them even better. Salad with homemade Italian dressing is a must before your main meal. True comfort food!
