Reviews
While many restaurants in Germany have a reputation for distant or unfriendly service, this place completely changed our expectations. The staff were kind, attentive, and genuinely sweet — they even apologized because they missed the moment when we poured our wine ourselves.
The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the kind of coziness that makes you want to talk for hours, open up, and enjoy a slow, intimate evening. Perfect for couples, friends, and anyone who loves good conversation.
And of course, the food was simply delicious. Definitely worth a visit!
Al Papagallo, as one can expect, is a pricy restaurant, it is, however worth the money in my opinion. If you like experimenting new food and not having to worry what to order, I recommend the tasting menu paired with some dry red wine.
Menu is autentically italian, exactly like the people working there.
Nice choice of pastas and, for lunch, useful chef’s menu offering a taste of many premium dishes for a mere 16 eur.
Excellent service.
Difficult parking options.
