Had the salmon and fish roe nigiri as apps. It was fresh and succulent, delicious indeed. Their chewy noodle special with pork belly was spectacular, would highly recommend. Small ish inside but have outside seating when weather allows. Quaint and pleasant experience.

We got the salmon maki roll, tuna maki roll, and the teriyaki chicken. Firstly, the presentation of the sushi was not great and the fish had a lot of skin on it. Sushi is an art and should be presented well and thoroughly. Secondly, both soy sauces on the table tasted awful. I’m not sure if they had gone bad or something, but they ruined the taste of the food. The teriyaki chicken was not seasoned well, but its portion was generous. The food didn’t feel very fresh overall. And the service was not friendly nor welcoming. In summary, a very mundane (and slightly disappointing) dinner.

The quality of the sushi was delicious and tasted fresh. Lovely view of the Harbor, quick service and reasonable prices.

BEST Japanese food as you’re going in Baltimore. Hat tip to the chefs. Lovely little special place in Fells. The Yakisoba noodles never disappoint and the shiitake roll is perfection. The fried oysters made for a great winter appetizer.

The literal worst food Ive had in a long time. Please dont come here. I order 2 sushi rolls and the “chef special” katsudon, the food quality is horrendous. First off, the shrimp tempura looks frozen and reheated. Its small, not crispy. The other roll, my girlfriend mostly ate so cant comment much on that. The Katsudon? Holy it was terrible. Looked straight up microwaved and steamed. The “porkkatsu” was soggy and the rice and egg were scrambled together all together into a bowl of what looked like throwup. You couldnt pay me to come here again. Oh also, they charge you $1 for adding avocado to a roll and $.50 for cucumber? I mean this might be the worst place in Baltimore! Holy 4.6 stars is a lie!!! Staff was fine, dont be mean to them though.

Smalll restaurant, on the water with exterior seating in summer, food was good, but menu did not clearly distinguish cooked from raw sushi. Nice selection. Wood benches and floor seating was traditional but not ideal.
Very tasty, no wait

Overall the experience is good. Food is good. Don’t have too high of expectation though: this is Baltimore after all. But it’s one of the best sushi place in town hands down.
We had a sashimi boat and it looks fancy, taste good but not great. Had a live sea urchin boat and it’s very visual and somehow taste; and it’s the biggest sea urchin I’ve ever seen, ever.

I’ve been coming to Nanami for over 10 years and absolutely love it here! This past time I only had time to grab take out and they still did not disappoint. Great rolls! Very happy 🙂

Delicious sushi and a nice change of pace compared to the pubs, bistros and other restaurants at Fell’s Point. All of the fish was fresh and we had a couple of their appetizers which were great. My only advice is to be conscious of the rolls with Old Bay, it was good but the flavor overpowered the sushi.

I get sweet potato/yam rolls at every restaurant that has them and these were the best! The yams were hot, not cold, like they should be. Our waitress was friendly and the service was fast! We sat outside which was lovely. Salmon roll and gyoza were great as well and my husband loved the huge can of special edition beer he got (think it’s called Sapparo).
