Pickles Cafe is a family-owned restaurant open 8 to 2 Tuesday-Saturday. We serve Breakfast 8 to 11 with yummy omelets, hashes and of course Kim’s famous Big Mama’s Burrito. we serve Lunch 11 to 2 with hot paninis and fresh salads not to mention our fantastic specials which usually is a pick 3. Pick 3 special give you the opportunity to create your own sampler of different paninis, deli salads, casseroles and other entree/side option. *We are now reopening every Wednesday 5 to 8 for Italian night! We also now serve beer and wine! Everything is made in house from scratch. We have simple safe options like plain meat and cheese sandwiches to more adventurous unique items for those who like to try something a little different.

The food was incredible and the service was amazing! The jalapeño crab coleslaw was the best coleslaw I’ve ever had, the popeye panini was amazing and the pasta was delicious. I will definitely be going back!

I called to place an order for carry out. I ordered the double biscuits and gravy. The biscuits and gravy is amazing and definitely not premade warmed up food like some restaurants do. It was home cooked real sausage not the fake stuff and the biscuits were amazing, soft and fluffy and there was a lot of gravy too. Also, on the side was some fruit and pickled cucumbers that was so good! All well worth the money I paid!
The owner was so nice and friendly. The atmosphere was so lovely and It felt very warm and inviting. I look forward to dining in and taking in the whole experience of a very quaint and experience of home cooked food. Pickles Café.

The atmosphere truly is delightful. I dined with a group of 12 or more. Our food arrived timely. I had quiche. The portion was smallish. I also had chocolate peanut butter pie, which was a little too rich for me. It was a beautiful day with good friends, so no real complaints or issues.

Pickles offers breakfast and lunch, with dinner served on Wednesdays only. We had lunch. A menu of specials allowed us to choose 3 items from a long list of sandwiches, soups, and salads. All 5 of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal, even adding a couple slices of pie to go on the way out.

By far one of my favorite restaurants of all time. Between the food and the environment. It’s nothing short of stepping into a time machine or another dimension. The food is completely out of this world. Things you’d never expect to see together in a recipe, on a platter, or in a sandwich. Collaborating together so well. Blowing your taste buds away along with your mind. A relaxing environment indoors and outdoors. It’s nice to bask in the sun with their outside dinning on a nice warm day, sun bathing and enjoying the modest traffic of Columbia City. Or step inside and enjoy the lovely, lively, warm environment indoors. With wonderful art strawn about, decor and nick nacks. Always a delight and even more so with company. Stop on by and you won’t be disappointed!

Poor service, rude manager.
We stopped by here to have a breakfast with my husband during our trip to Indiana.
We ordered Avocado omelette & Farmer’s omelette at 11.19 am and waited so long that we had to ask about it to the lady who was managing the cafe and seemed like the owner; she answered “since you guys ordered eggs, it takes time to cook” Girl, I cook my omelette in 3 mins at home?!
No apologies or even a small “sorry..” . Unprofessional.
Our food arrived to table after 12 pm.
And guess what? My order was prepared wrong.
Waited 40 MINUTES for an incorrect order.
I did not except the wrong order and my husband got his order packed to go.
We left here completely unsatisfied.
Btw, our server was kind and she tried her best to help.

It is so nice to sit down at a restaurant and be able to find a large selection of food options that are healthy. Not only was my lunch healthy but it was also delicious. Service was excellent and there was plenty of outdoor seating. Wonderful place to eat.

Trying something new today on my daycation … Homemade Lasagna, Roasted Califlower Soup, Veggie Quiche, and Rhubard Bread Pudding. This restaurant was absolutely the best food I’ve had in a long time and I dine out a lot. Homemade daily, healthy choices, and friendly atmosphere all around. Will definitely return to try more options on thier amazing menu.
