Cheerful, family-run eatery serving classic Lebanese eats, from shwarma platters to fried kibbeh.

Located in an older strip mall, it’s easy to miss this place. The good reviews we found on Google led us here. The cashier agreed that the 3-meat combo was the best value on their menu. The volume of food it came with was indeed impressive. The meats were good, grilled perfectly. The rice was subpar, for sure, made with parboiled rice. Not very authentic. The hummus was decent, the pita was commercially bought, served in its original packaging. My daughter enjoyed the salad, which I was ok with, but not too impressed. I enjoyed the baklava which was generously portioned, not swimming in syrup, flaky and delicious. The service is fast-foodish and the wait for our food was reasonable. Even when opting to dine in, our food was served bagged and in to go containers. Don’t expect to be wowed. You will leave full at least.

I recently dined at Mezzaterranean, and it offered a well-executed Mediterranean dining experience in the Rancho Cucamonga area. Located along Foothill Boulevard, the restaurant has a modern yet relaxed atmosphere that reflects the casual elegance often associated with Mediterranean cuisine. The space feels welcoming and comfortable, making it suitable for both casual lunches and relaxed dinners with friends or family.
The menu focuses on traditional Mediterranean and Middle Eastern flavors, with a strong emphasis on fresh ingredients, herbs, and balanced seasoning. The appetizer selection is particularly appealing, as Mediterranean cuisine naturally lends itself to mezze-style dining where small plates are shared among the table. Dishes such as hummus, baba ghanoush, and other dips demonstrated good texture and freshness, with olive oil, garlic, and lemon providing the bright flavors that define these classics.
Grilled meats were another highlight of the meal. Mediterranean cooking often relies on simple marinades and careful grilling to allow the quality of the ingredients to shine. The meats were tender and well seasoned, with a light char from grilling that added depth of flavor. Paired with rice, salads, and sauces such as garlic sauce or tahini, the plates felt balanced and satisfying.
Vegetable dishes and salads added another dimension to the meal. Fresh herbs, cucumbers, tomatoes, and citrus-based dressings helped create a refreshing contrast to the richer grilled items. This balance between savory proteins and lighter vegetable dishes is one of the defining strengths of Mediterranean cuisine, and the restaurant captures that dynamic well.
Service during the visit was friendly and attentive. Staff members maintained a welcoming attitude and were helpful in guiding diners through the menu. The pacing of the meal felt comfortable, allowing guests to enjoy each dish without feeling rushed.
The overall atmosphere reflects the character of a neighborhood Mediterranean restaurant where the focus is on quality ingredients and balanced flavors rather than elaborate presentation. It is the type of place where diners can return regularly for dependable food and a comfortable dining environment.
Overall, Mezzaterranean offers a flavorful and satisfying Mediterranean dining experience with fresh ingredients, well-prepared grilled dishes, and welcoming service. It stands out as a strong option for anyone looking for authentic Mediterranean flavors in Rancho Cucamonga.

Beat hummus I’ve had was here! I’ve been to many places , many restaurants, some I forget to leave reviews about cuz it wasn’t worth the effort tbh . But this place made me rethink and revisit the fact that I’ve never had good/great/amazing hummus before. Something about this hummus was so much better , fresh, and delicious. I ended up ordering the chicken and beef share plate for 2, it definitely feeds two and some, we had enough for left overs as well. The food the next day was still so good and fresh. I ate plenty of food and still felt great to play some volleyball with the fam without a stomach ache or tummy grumble lol. A most stop and eat place for me and my lady in the future now, and if youre wondering they do cater . The menu was so simple and pleasant to look at and read . Don’t worry if you were like me and never had good hummus then this is the place for you and your family !!

Pros: affordable, filling, and delicious! Ample parking in a small shopping center.
Cons: tables are higher than chairs, and the tables need to be wiped down thoroughly. Many of the tables are sticky!
We got the beef kefta kebabs and chicken schawarma plate — both super flavorful. Will def order again and check out other items on the menu.

Every time I’m in Southern California, I go on a quest worthy of its own Netflix series: The Hunt for the Perfect Falafel. Most places serve sad, frozen wannabe falafel balls that taste like they’ve been through an identity crisis in a deep fryer. But then—Google, my trusty oracle—led me here. And wow. Plot twist: this place gets it right.
The falafel? Golden armor outside, soft and steamy inside. The wrap? Flavor-packed perfection. Lebanese-style and full of love. Sure, the location might scream “cheap rent,” but who cares when the food tastes this good? If you’re chasing that crispy, herby, “where-have-you-been-all-my-life” falafel sandwich—this is your holy grail.

Kafta kabob was tiny. The last time I got food from here I had leftover kabob. Today the kabobs were yummy but too skinny like hot dogs. And the rice, while tasty wasn’t middle eastern.. more like Uncle Ben’s…. Hummus is fantastic though!

Located on the corner of Malachite and Foothill blvd, in the same shopping center as Autozone, Mezzaterranean is a family owned restaurant specializing in Lebanese food. I recently had their beef kabob plate, and it was so good, I was left speechless. Speechless, not because i didn’t have the words. Speechless because, I was too busy eating. The chunky cubes of beef were perfectly cooked. Every piece was soft, tender, and lean (no fat whatsoever). Combined with the flavorful rice, hummus, and salad, the beef kabob platter was nearly a perfect meal. The next dish I want to try will be the Shawarma Fries. Check this place out. They opened in 2014 and have a sister location in West Covina.

We got food poisoning, it was stale food. It was not worth paying $50 for two people lunch, the ambience was bad, unclean. Would not recommend to anyone.
