Ordered a 4 piece chicken meal, fries and another order of honey butter biscuits on GrubHub.
The chicken meal is supposed to include a honey butter biscuit which was missing so I was pretty disappointed until I actually tasted one and was thankful it was missing cuz it would go right in the trash. I’m not sure why a honey butter biscuit would have chunks of salt and have an unpleasant aftertaste.
On to the chicken… it was absolutely dreadful. It was salty to the point of being almost inedible. While it was seasoned, to call it Cajun style is a bit of a stretch. With that said, it was cooked properly and would have been decent if they lowered the salt content.
Fries were pretty good but doesn’t save what was otherwise a terrible meal.
Honestly I don’t know this area too well so can’t recommend a local alternative but there were some Popeyes that popped up and would probably be a better option than KKC.
