We made reservations and went on a Saturday night. What an awesome experience! The live jazz music was wonderful, and the service was spectacular! Everyone was SO nice! We had the focaccia bread appetizer, lasagna and spaghetti and meatballs for our entrees, and cannoli for dessert. For drinks we had chocolate martinis and tried an Italian Mule, which is now our new favorite drink! This felt like one of those hidden gems you find in the big city.

The Lasagna was the best I have ever had. Zesty thick sauce was incredible. We went on Thursday and were very happy to see they have added live jazz music on Thursday nights. Staff was super attentive and friendly and the atmosphere was very inviting and unique.

Atmosphere is really cool, jazz trio was excellent. Drinks were great. Food was8 a mix. Carbonara pasta was not good. Fish was good. Eggplant hard to work since it was left essentially whole. Ravioli was passable. For the price, food should be better.

Super cute place. Tasty drinks and delicious foods. The whipped ricotta was served cold (intended) however we did not know that prior to tasting, odd but decent. The Caesar salad was awesome. The gnocchi was tasty and the New York strip was flavorful.

The AI photos are not good for atmosphere. The AI photos for the menu are also not good. I would really wish the owner would put up non-AI art on the walls that would compliment the hard work of the symphony they pay tribute to. Due to this, I have removed this restaurant from my recommendations list, which saddens me since this restaurant used to be considered an essential visit before the symphony. Atmosphere for a restaurant is just as important as the food and service.

This is a review of the excellent restaurant at the Symphony Hotel OTR (which is top notch lodging). Fridays and Saturdays, you’ll hear the best jazz in an intimate setting.
I enjoyed the meatballs appetizer (which is filling for one person) and a very good beer, while tapping my toes to the band’s tunes.
Get there early for the best seats. It’s also a good idea to make a reservation, especially for more than 2 people (seats about 30).

This place is awesome! The food is so good and is a very reasonable price! The whipped ricotta was very tasty and my friends and I LOVED it!! The Fettuccine Alfredo was some of the best I’ve ever tried. It was so flavorful and was a really good portion size! My friends and I’s food all came out at the same time and the drinks we phenomenal! The drink menu had so much on it that it made it so hard to choose one!! The deserts were also very flavorful and the gelato is to DIE for. I will 100% be coming back and bringing all my friends! The service was amazing and our waiter was wonderful!

I was hoping other less than stellar reviews were one-offs, but no. Our taste might be discerning, but we found the food was bland and unremarkable. We ordered a salad, the eggplant, the ravioli, and the beans & greens. The entrees came minutes after the salad. The tables are so small there was barely room to put down the plates. The salad was undressed and it took a minute for the waitress to bring a dressing shaker which was slick with oil. By the time the salad was done our entrees started to cool. The eggplant was watery and lacked seasoning. The ravioli pasta was thick and not fully cooked through because it was so thick. I probably liked the beans & greens the most as they reminded me of a Tuscan dish. Other elements that were an indication of a potentially sub par experience was the fact that despite the restaurant being in a boutique hotel, the sidewalk out front wasn’t shoveled adequately – making it a slick and dangerous entry into the building. The furniture design is poorly conceived, and the art on the walls looked really cheap and cheesy. Cincinnati has lots better restaurants for the money.

This was our second time to eat at Vivaldi’s, and both times we received excellent service from Luke! He is such a warm and attentive server! He was training Mara, who also took great care of us! The food and atmosphere was also a treat! We’ll be back!

My friends and I had our 21st birthday dinner at Vivaldi and had a great experience. We started with the focaccia bread and it was excellent. The service was prompt and everyone was very friendly. The restaurant was also astoundingly clean and everything we ordered was delicious. Food was hot, full of flavor, and great portion sizes. Overall had a fantastic experience and would recommend this restaurant to everyone.
