They are friendly people—my second time there. The only problem I was concerned about was that they charged for water cups, which was 1.50 for a small cup. That she set for a jumble cup, which we didn’t have. Though the water was free, it was free. You pay for the cup. My friend ordered a 6.59 she charged him 8.59 for his dish. My plate was 8.15, the regular
price for my dish, And he only added cheese, which is 75 cents. His sausage was cold; he didn’t want to complain about his dish, just decided to eat it. Our food came up to 20.95. I paid, not thinking why it came up to that price mind was thinking of other things. We didn’t realize that till we decided to look at the receipt after we left felt like we were being overcharged. We are not the type that complains or makes no one mad. We love peace. We are just going to fall back from going. All I’m saying is pay attention to the price and what you order so you won’t be over the charger overall; the food is delicious

After visiting ShaZam’s for the first time, I can honestly say that the food is amazingly priced and so very yummy. The service was wonderful, as the two employees were extremely friendly and seemed like they thoroughly enjoyed being there. The environment when entering this place was absolutely incredible, and easily makes you feel welcomed and at home. I cannot say enough good regarding my first encounter! I will be visiting quite often and this LOCAL restaurant will definitely be getting my business. Thanks a ton ShaZam, and keep up the great work.
P.S. – make sure to try the french toast, it is f a n t a s t i c!

I absolutely love going to breakfast at this place! The sausage, egg and cheese with a side of hash-browns are amazing! As soon as you walk in the door, you are greeted, and the atmosphere is amazing!!! Best and most affordable breakfast in the area.

I’ve lived in Grifton for a year and this is the first time I got a chance to stop and try their food. I must say that everyone was so friendly when I came in. I ordered my breakfast to go and didn’t have to wait long at all. The food was absolutely amazing!! I will definitely be back again and will recommend to everyone I know.

A great steak dinner on fridays. For just $20 you get a steak, shrimp or trout, 2 sides, and a bread roll. A prime example of a coastal Southern Dining. Their primary focus is breakfast and I have had their sausage biscuit. Amazing as well. Call ahead though as I was there at 4:40 pm and there were 4 orders in front of me

I went here the other day 1/6/24 for my first time to get me a bacon and cheese biscuit and when I got it, it was full of nothing but cheese and they only give u two slices of bacon for a BACON and cheese biscuit so I wonder if I would of just got a bacon biscuit would it have been the same !! But anywho I took it back up there and I asked for a refund and she says to me oh yea that’s how we make our cheese biscuit and I was like with barley any bread and only two pieces of bacon with nothing but a half of block of cheese on the biscuit like no who wants that fr !! So she proceeded to say out her mouth well if you want something like that u needa go to Kash and Karry for that like u dame right bc you’ll get more out of your money with kash and Karry rather then this spot and it’s sad that it’s a black owned business and they doing they customers like that and telling them they could of went somewhere else but like be fr TWO PIECES OF BACON!!! They not even thick at that they are thin I told her I was basically paying for a cheese biscuit with a side of bacon just a very bad experience for my first time and yea just never again.
