Hello where do I begin! I want to first start off by saying my experience started with a phone call this morning the young lady was pleasant and spoke to a tone where I could understand I loved that she read my order back to me didn’t rush me to place my order. I’m from Columbus Ohio and have been a Restaurant Manager for 25 years and have been a secret shopper for 17 years. The breakfast i received today was the very best i have had since I recently moved here in February of last year I have been to gas stations to eat that was crazy never seen that!!! To many other restaurants here but today was my very first time coming here as agin I say thank you for all that you do!!! To the cooks!!!!! Don’t change a thing!!!! Breakfast today was fabulous!!!!! Thank you so much. I’m excited that I finally found a place in orangeburg sc that doesn’t disappoints!!!!!!

Awesome Southern country cooking, all the classics. We enjoyed hamburger steaks with gravy, chicken and dumplings and all the sides. Best turnip greens of my life! The sort of place where the regulars are known and visitors are welcomed. And Mama Judi clearly runs the place with a lot of joy. A real family affair. Come enjoy!

I cannot believe this is the first time we have ever been. Everything was absolutely seasoned right, cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious! We will definitely be going back and trying a lot more because their menu looks so good.

This place is a gem. Not a really big menu but damn sure is good. I always get the big burger and fries and it never disappoints. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone.

My husband and I stopped here on our road trip from Charleston to Columbia. It had gotten a decent amount of positive reviews and we were definitely in the mood for breakfast. Upon entering Mama’s Kountry Kooking we were greeted and told to sit wherever we like. Service was very friendly and prompt. The coffee was strong and served in a nice thick walled mug. There was not a ton of healthy options on the menu but they were very flexible and allowing me to substitute sliced tomatoes out for potatoes. Breakfast was well-cooked, tasty, and of a decent portion. The price couldn’t be beat. A great place for breakfast that is obviously frequent head by the locals. We definitely be back if we’re ever in the neighborhood again.

Have only eaten there a couple of times.I have eaten at several events that they cater to and it’s always been great. But recently I purchased a full pan of what was supposed to be homemade dressing.Well to be honest it was a pan of Sweet cornbread.Almost exactly same taste and texture as stove top stuffing.Homemade dressing from what I remember my mom and other ladies in the family cooking contained boiled eggs, some giblets, celery, onions and definitely sage. This had none of these thing from what I could taste are see. Some people may like sweet stuffing with no sage flavor but I don’t think I’ll be ordering this particular item in the future.Maybe breakfast are other stuff but no more dressing.

Great food and service, if it’s cold outside don’t choose the table by the door but other than that poor decision on our part, the food was great!

I wanted to take my brother out and try this restaurant hoping it would really deliver some down home southern cooking. Shoulder to shoulder seating and noisy. Not a clean restaurant. The food was over cooked and over priced. The ice tea had no flavor. We had brownies for dessert and it looked like someone reached into the pan with their hands (hopefully with gloves on) and grabbed pieces out. I do have to say the waitress really knew how to hustle and the food was served quickly.
