Was just passing thru, on way to the Black Hills. Clerk at the hotel recommended this place for supper. It did not disappoint. Service we friendly, funny, and sweet. My pizza was AMAZING!! Toppings were fresh and lots of flavor. Crust was perfect. Thanks for the great experience.

The “homemade” lasagna was a HUGE disappointment. It was served swimming in sauce. The meat was unrecognizable and had a weird taste and texture. The cheese melted in clumps, clearly an imitation cheese, for the $17 price and homemade title, I expected much better. My husband’s hoagie was OK. The server was nice. We also found it odd they do not have to-go cups. Weird.

Good meal, and good service. Would have been 5 stars, but I ordered the manicotti with grilled chicken, and it came out of the kitchen plain. The cheesy bread is always delicious! Both meals came with a choice of soup or salad. We both chose the salad, one Cesar, and one house salad. The pasta was the special for the night. 2 pasta dishes for $20, or with 2 glasses of wine for $25. Prices can be a little high if you don’t have the special.

What you want from an Italian eatery, with more on the menu than you would expect. Instant favs are the Thai Peanut Shrimp, Sweet Heat Wings, and Onion Rings. I returned later for Pasta (see pics) and encountered a Sam Elliot look alike!

It’s always to be expected of slow service, but last week did an order for pickup and it took another 15-20 min from what they said which is fine I like to see people busy but i ordered a Buffalo chicken sandwich with fries and I got 12 fries and just a plain chicken sandwich and I had called just to let them know it was not acceptable and I wasn’t happy and the gal that answered seemed not to care. I enjoyed wings there prior but after this last time I guess they don’t care for my business and don’t need my $50 plus every visit. It was 3/24/23 won’t let me respond to owners question

Service was great, worst marinara ever. Canned would be better. Beer was cold, Service great, food meh. No need to take leftovers home.

Meh! I cook. I understand my level of experience is higher than most.
This was wack.
Broken broken!!! Alfredo sauce. The manicotti itself is thick, undercooked and under seasoned.
Ordered a pepperoni, olive and cream cheese pizza. Cream cheese is a turned a very thin spreadable sauce. Creative. But if you Wana be fancy season it!
Olives were on 1/4 of the pizza. it was dead!!!!!!!!! That’s lazy.
Asked for extra extra marinara, Alfredo and lemon for my ceasar salad. (I placed my order very clearly) when ib picked it up I had to re ask.
Just disappointed. Honestly. Sauce is under seasoned. Just meh! Food….. all the way around. Even the ceasar dressing is meh.

Always enjoy S&L! Good food, nice atmosphere, and great service! The Manhattan or t-rex pizza and the lasagna or tortellini are my favorites! Recently went for my daughter’s birthday and the wait staff made her feel so special! Layla went above and beyond for us and other customers there!

Great experience, after 10hrs of driving our group was looking for a Pizza, and they didn’t miss! Great food and cold beer.

Ordered a hamburger. Meat reminded me of the cafeteria burgers served as a kid. Also they must cook them in advance, refrigerate, and reheat them. Might have been good to remember the reheat portion. Burger temp was roughly above 40 degrees maybe. Waitress dropped the food off and never returned to check on me. Currently sitting here with my card on the table hoping to get out of here sometime soon.
