Tried Deccan Flavors Exton recently and it’s a fresh new addition to the area. We visited on Valentine’s Day and appreciated getting a private table — the staff were friendly and welcoming despite the holiday rush.

The food was good overall. The special mutton curry was flavorful and well-cooked. The tandoori dish didn’t quite feel like traditional tandoori chicken — more like a chicken sukka — but it still tasted nice. They also served a complimentary vermicelli kheer that was aromatic and a pleasant way to end the meal.

A promising new spot with room to refine, but definitely worth a visit.

South Indian restaurant with plenty of regional specialties. I got the gongura chicken, a dish from Andhra Pradesh. It uses sorrel leaves as the blended greens to add a bright, tangy flavor that stands up well against the aggressive warming spices. The mild version here had a decent amount of heat, just enough to make you sweat a bit and then shovel the next spoonful into your mouth. The chicken was just cooked through for a bouncy, juicy texture. Really delicious.

Visited for lunch and tried a variety of chicken, lamb, and veg dishes, everything tasted great! The chicken lollipops were really good, but the lamb chops were the absolute best, tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Definitely the highlight of the meal!
Also tried the Irani chai, and it’s honestly one of the best I’ve had, Rich, aromatic, and the perfect way to finish the meal. A must-try!

We just tried this restaurant and absolutely loved it! The cut mirchi, goat sukka, and boneless biryani were full of flavor and cooked perfectly. The highlight at the end was their Irani chai — rich, aromatic, and the perfect finish to the meal. Highly recommend this place!

The portion size of each dish is satisfactory. The taste is good as well. And compared to other Indian restaurants nearby the prize is less

One of the best Indian meals I’ve had in a very long time. The staff is personable and warm and the menu is expansive. The restaurant ambience was very appealing and upscale. It’s reminiscent of high-end hotel in India. The food came out quickly, and was absolutely delicious. I intend to come back and get it again. Strongly recommend.

Great Experience at this Restaurant. Delicious and fresh food with short wait times. The service and professionalism is also greatly appreciated. There was some miscommunication in ordering and when brought to the manager he handled it correctly and professionally. Would definitely come again and recommend to others. Loved the chicken Tandoori and loved that they offered Halal meat. Keep it up!

I wasn’t sure what to order but two beautiful and kind women helped me figure it out. As a female, dining alone, it was very nice to eat delicious, authentic Indian food served by friendly staff. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of delicious food I received and the adorable price that I paid. I have leftovers for several more meals.
I highly recommend Deccan Flavors!

10/10 food and dining experience. We ate here 2 months after they opened and were given a nice two-top with comfortable chairs. Our waiter was able to answer any questions we had about flavor and spicyness along with recommendations on what we should try. We ended up getting the Goat Sukka and Potato Samosa’s to start with a Mango Lassi and Irani Chai. Definitely ordered with our stomachs as we had plenty of our entree to take home for later, the Vijayawada Boneless Chicken Biryani. The goat was loaded with flavor/sauce and had a nice little kick. Samosa’s and Garlic Naan both came out hot (thermally) and again great taste. Good amount of chicken in the biryani and the flavors were impeccable. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Definitely going back soon to try out more! Thank you Deccan!

Visited this restaurant with my friend for dinner and wanted to try this place out. This is located in a huge strip mall where kohls is located in exton. This place has ample shared parking.
We went for dinner and the area is well lit. As you enter the restaurant you will see the nice decor and ambiance and the gelreetinf table. The staff greeted us and gave us a seating. The staff is very friendly. Note that this is a BYOB establishment. The team has done a fantastic job with the decor and tables. Plates wveryrhing make you feel a great experience.
As we went through the menu, which is not robust but has a lot of options and you can see its south Indian style.
We decided to order curry leaf chicken for appetizer, Special Andhra goat curry, chicken dum biryani, and garlic Naan.
There were 5 other tables occupied at that time. The food started coming at a reasonable time.
Curry leaf chicken didn’t impress us at all. It was basically breaded chicken that would be used for chili chicken or Manchurian. Instead, they were topped with some curry leaves. Stay away from this dish
The special goat curry, it was okay but nothing special about it. The meat was very tender and nicely cooked. The curry is just standard onions, tomato sauce with more red chili powder. I will not recommend this as well. To mix it with rice, it tasted good.
The garlic Naan was perfect, but little on the greasier side, but went well with the goat curry.
The dum biryani was probably the better one, and the chicken was cooked to perfection. The rice was a little dry but manageable.
This restaurant has the potential to become a major player in the area but needs minor tweaking and focus on the recipes. Will definitely try one more time.
