SoulEdge: Makes you feel, She’s One of a Kind.
This review is based from breakfast & lunch visits. Tulum located where ADDiKT Modern Kitchen used to be. Jessica my server gave me excellent service. I ordered Tulum Benedict, Haas Avocado Pureé, Pico de Gallo, Spiced Pepitas, Poached Pasture-Raised Eggs, Housemade Hollandaise on a English Muffin. Another dish of Scramble Eggs , Chicken Sausage, bread. Smooth silk butter. Dine for Lunch (young white Hispanic front desk lady with curly hair helped me get the elevator) I ate Tulum Flatbread, the dish (not that spicy, my 1st try) has Marinated Pineapple, Jalapeno, Hot Honey, with Steak and Warm Ocho Rios Bread Pudding, good touch on the ice cream. Panther Coffee (inside hotel Lobby) has good coffee. Visit dedicated to my then German American ex girlfriend, who looks like Lagertha from a vikings tv show. And she’s a Maddona fan. Cue in songs: Don’t Tell Me & Crazy for You, both sung by Maddona.

SoulEdge: Back in the Game
Arrived in late April. When I arrived there was a private event. Fernando went out of his way to help me out with seating. I ate outside and enjoying the breeze. Jorge my server gave me excellent service, along with the other lady server. I ate a Tulum Beast Burger 8 oz. Blend of bison, elk, wild boar, and wagyu beef, grilled queso fresco, demi-glace mushrooms dressed arugula salad, pickled red onion, tomato jam. And Lava Cake w/melted marshmallows. Nice touch the quesco fresco and sweet tomato jam compliment each other. Visit dedicated to my then ex German American girlfriend who looks like Lagertha from a vikings tv show. Cue in the songs Back in the Game

Listen. I don’t give out 10 stars lightly. Last time I did, it was to a sandwich I dropped on the floor and still ate. But TULUM on the 15th floor of the W Hotel in Brickell? That’s not a restaurant. That’s a lifestyle cult with guacamole.

Let’s break this down:

THE VIEW: It’s like God hit “panoramic” on His iPhone. You see the whole city. You could confess crimes here and still feel at peace. It’s that beautiful.

THE FOOD: Every bite tasted like my bank account cried a little… and I loved it. The flavors? Bold. Complex. Slightly threatening, like a rich ex who came back hotter and with a better palate.

THE MARGARITAS: These drinks are not safe for work. Or life. One sip and I started texting people I swore I’d never talk to again. Two sips and I was planning my soft rebrand as a rooftop influencer named “Felíx con Fuego.”

THE VIBE: Think jungle chic meets “I’m about to make bad decisions but in designer shoes.” Everyone is hot, mysterious, and pretending they didn’t Google the menu ahead of time.

THE SERVICE: Impeccable. Our server floated to the table like a well-trained hospitality ghost. He whispered “Would you like another?” and I swear I felt my ancestors nod.

THE DECOR: You’re not dining. You’re being summoned. Hanging plants, flickering candles, and furniture that probably has a backstory. It’s giving “Tulum vacation” without having to dodge spiritual influencers.

THE BILL: Yes, it’s expensive. But what’s money when you’re dining with a skyline and having an existential crisis brought on by a shrimp tostada?

THE EXPERIENCE: One moment I was hungry, the next I was rethinking all my life choices and wondering if I could legally marry a truffle.

️ THE AFTERGLOW: You don’t leave TULUM. It stays with you. Like a really attractive fever dream. Or a tattoo you don’t remember getting but weirdly love.

FINAL VERDICT: 10/10. Would absolutely come back. May never emotionally recover. Worth it.

We had a delicious lunch here with great service. The food was fresh & yummy. I had a salad with mixed greens, goat cheese medallions, blueberries, mandarin oranges, walnuts, & radishes and it was incredibly healthy and so good. Hubs had a Cubano sandwich with fries and loved it. We sat outside and enjoyed the gorgeous weather, rooftop views, and overlooked the pool.
Pricey, but it’s Miami!

Arrived to the W and my room wasn’t ready. The front desk recommended using the $20 credit on a drink or food at the Tulum on the rooftop. Came upstairs and it looked nice on both inside and outside seating areas. I chose to sit outside for the views and fresh air. I sat here for 2hrs without a single server approaching me. Not even a glass of water offered or a hello at all. It wasn’t busy they just don’t know what customer service is. With nothing to do but wait for my room to be ready i
Just enjoyed the comfortable canopy seat and the view while seemingly no one worked here. It’s almost as if everyone on the staff avoided coming outside. Dishes were left on tables and not even picked up and didn’t belong to me. But even if they did where is the service? Just a terrible start to my stay and i definitely won’t be back.

We had breakfast here. Was ok. Omelet has no taste. Fruit bowl was generous, potatoes are good. Meal was supposed to come with toast, never got it. All the food needed salt. However the salt shakers are rusted and stopped up. Not as much attention to detail as there should be.
Great view and great vibes though.

Genuinely confused by the five star reviews. The food was mediocre at best, the prices were crazy for the quality and portions. I would rate the tacos as some of the least impressive I’ve ever had.

This restaurant just opened a week ago and is serving only breakfast and lunch. We went there for lunch yesterday and everything was spot on. Our server was extremely nice and friendly and gave us good recommendations. Try the local mango beer they serve. We also ordered the octopus, loaded nachos, a chicken sandwich and the fish tacos. Everything was delicious and well cooked. The views from the restaurant are quite nice.
