Such a gem of a random find. I happened to be driving by looking for good Korean in Pal Park when I saw this spot come up in my search. I can easily say this is the best seafood pancake I’ve ever had. They make it so perfectly crispy and crunchy without the gummy ness I’ve experienced at other restaurants. They are also very generous with the amount of seafood in their dishes. My other go to is Gamja Tang, of which this has been my fave so far in NJ. The first few times I had takeout and I dined in for the first time last night with family. If the dining room is empty, don’t let that fool you. This place just hasn’t been found out yet it seems. The food is quality, service is extremely attentive (noticed we needed more napkins and brought it immediately without us even asking for them). They also are A+ with their entertainment. My sis loved the eating show they had running the whole time (basically mukbang), and I simply can’t get enough of the free street fighter arcade game they have tucked in the corner. I can see younger diners wanting to hunker down for the long haul there. Kudos to the kitchen and staff for a wonderful Korean restaurant. We will be back to sample everything on the menu!

I’m not Korean, but my taste buds? Maybe. Gam Namoo Gol serves up authentic, flavorful dishes that hit just right. We started off with japchae which is too good. The braised pampano fish was amazing, the banchan not lot but delicious, and the cozy vibe sealed the deal. Thanks Google for this find!

While eating bossam here, I asked to take the leftovers to go. At many places, when you box food after starting a meal, they usually only pack the main dish.
But here, they thoughtfully packed everything that goes with bossam — the garlic, peppers, ssamjang, shrimp paste, and even the kimchi. It may seem like a small detail, but it honestly meant a lot to me.
I know this could be inconvenient for the servers, yet they did it without hesitation. That level of care and consideration truly impressed me. Excellent service and attention to detail — I’ll definitely be coming back.

I ordered the spicy pork (제육볶음) to go, and it was a big disappointment. More than half of the dish was just cabbage, carrots, and other vegetables. The meat tasted pre-cooked and simply tossed in sauce with some jalapeños. For $29, the portion was really underwhelming. I won’t be ordering again.

It is a pretty new place and they had great quality food with satisfying portions. Only thing is that thier kimchi is not so good. Their doganitang was very good.

Very good experience here. The banchan were fresh and well-seasoned. We ordered seafood pajeon, seolleongtang, and gamjatang jeongol, and everything was plentiful and of great quality. The service was very friendly as well.

Reasonably priced, good food, good location, and very friendly. Place was empty for early lunch during weekday. Their ox bone soup tasted a little bland but had enough meat and good kimchi.
