Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

It has been a long time since I have ate at Whataburger. I was absolutely shocked when I got my burger at the size. Everyone else is giving smaller and smaller portions and charging more but this burger was well worth the value, tasted great and was a really nice meal. The staff was very friendly and I plan to come back ASAP.

After a late night shift I visited the drive thru and needed time to decide on my order. I asked some questions and Joseph was incredibly helpful and kind while taking my order. I inquired about some condiments and he shared his personal choice, being a mixture of sauces, and informed me that they do cost per sauce which I chose to indulge in. As I waited (not very long at all) he took it upon himself to mix my sauces in his preferred way which was not only kind but an amazing recommendation to go along with my onion rings (mustard, honey w/ a little black pepper). 10/10 on overall experience and will most definitely come back bc Joseph’s customer service was exceptional.

Was passing through at about 3 this afternoon, feeling hungry and stop by here to grab a quick meal. Joshua was very helpful. The food was served quickly and tasted delicious. Overall, it was a great experience!

Nobody is working front counter. The workers acted like the front end didn’t even exist. We had to practically walk behind the counter and raise our voices just to get someone’s attention, and even then they acted annoyed that they had to help us. It took about 20 minutes to get our food, which felt excessive considering how many employees were working at the time.
When our food finally came out, the burgers were made very sloppy and the fries tasted old. The food trays were absolutely nasty. Our order was also wrong and missing items, so we had to go back up to the counter twice to get it corrected. The food itself tasted alright, but everything else overshadowed that.
The restaurant overall was very dirty — the walls and floors were nasty as well. Unfortunately, this was our first and last time eating here.

My cheseburger was delicious, but my french fries were soggy, and chewy! I enjoy a crispy fry! My coke was good, then I got a refil, and it was horrible, the other side was better, but on their side it was the best. The workers were ok. They do load the french fries here, but lile I said, I do not like mush, chewy french fries!

The buns were burnt and you they don’t have anyone working the counter. You have to place your order yourself using a kiosk. I would rate the atmosphere less than one because a woman sitting next to us was eating her burger using her feet.

So glad they finally got a location here! I visit twice a month for work. Entered and neither worker greeted us, not used to that. Stood in line for a few minutes. Again, none of the staff offered assistance to the few people standing in line at the counter. They expected everyone to use the kiosk. Began to use the kiosk, which was super easy and had all the options to customize your meal. Waited at the counter for another 7 minutes before we could get cups. Food came out, we were missing the sauce we purchased. The worker stated it had to be purchased. I showed him my receipt. Everyone appeared in a trance like zombies. The fries were hot and hot fresh. The burger not so much. The cheese was barely melted. The toast was just buttery bread. The location was clean as ever with plentiful parking. I’d visit again, just thru the drive-thru.

We ordered today around 2:15pm. Not only was the food great, the cashier (didn’t get his name) was super helpful, warm and friendly, something that’s rare in fast food these days. We haven’t lived in an area that has Whataburger in a while, but we’re so happy to be back.

The Assistant Manager Hunter at this location is a very helpful individual. Both in restaurant and over the phone he has an absolutely gigantic heart!!!! My mentally Impaired family member, who’s car broke down right at the interstate exit where this location is located, didn’t have the clothing to sit in the car & stay warm for the 4 & 1/2 hours it was going to take me to get from East Texas. The temp. during those 4 hours was low 16 ° high 18 ° saved my family’s life by allowing them to sit eat the hot food & coffee I purchased online, till I was able to get there in my mind. so, if Hunters store management is reading this This man needs a substantial Pay Increase!!!! For everyone else great food tremendous atmosphere if you dine-in and Hunter serves you shake his hand and tell Him how awesome of a hero he is please! I will be contacting Whataburger Corporate Office about this incident 1st thing in the morning as well and relaying this to them I truly hope both corporate & store Management appreciate how much of dedicated caring person he is. I wish I had more staff at my Own Property who was just like him. I even offered him a job if he ever was to relocate to TEXAS! OFFER STANDS AS LONG AS I LIVE & BREATHE HUNTER AND WHEN I PURCHASE THAT PROPERTY IN CONWAY JOB IS THERE WHENEVER YOU WANT TO ACCEPT IT!

Came into whataburger Tuesday and the manager, Britney was very polite and welcoming, had great customer service. Greeted us as soon as we came in and even came to check that our food was to our standards. Its hard to find that kind of service these days. We will definitely be coming back!
