Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Let me start by saying that I’m an In-N-Out guy but I’ve always enjoyed Whataburger during trips to Texas. After reading the reviews on the Pueblo location that opened about a month ago, I almost opted for Culver’s but I rolled the dice and was pleasantly surprised. The staff is a little inexperienced but they got the order right for a party of 4, and the food was hot and tasty. We were there before the dinner rush and had no complaints. Our wait was reasonable. The iced tea was fresh and tasted great on a hot day. Any time you go to a new location it can be dicey but maybe we just got lucky.

First time trying this place. Placed an online order. Informed the cashier when I arrived. Sat at a dirty table. Waited 20 minutes. Waited another 20 minutes asked again. The cashier was like oh I forgot and laughed about it. The food was cold, fries rubbery, the burger was not good.
I’m going to save you money, because it’s expensive -and 40 minutes of your time, go somewhere else. It’s definitely not worth it.

Tonight was my best experience at this location! I placed my order and drove over rand fully expected to wait for my food and have people with an attitude (which was an issue in the past). However, to.my surprise i was greeted kindly and told they were finishing the order up. It was hot when the food was handed to me and food was made correctly the first time (also a past issue). Thank you to those working today January 26!!!

05.27.2025 Update: We decided to come back again because, honestly their burgers are really good. I ordered a chicken sandwich and it was tasty also. The fries and onion rings are horrible and cold. I was also overcharged for items included in my actual meal. Make sure you check your receipt. I brought this to the attention of the management and both men were patient, kind, and replaced them quickly as we ate in. I know they are new and all the kinks aren’t worked out yet and I will try back again in a month or two

Now, for the complaints. The fries were COLD, TASTELESS, AND SOGGY. The lady that brought us our food, said I just got here and walked away. How’s that for service? The sweet tea is NOT that sweet. Kind of disappointing, but I’m over it
I would come back to try the breakfast, but other than that I’m not impressed
Oh, and the shake machines were down and they have NO salt

The night manager is really good at his job. He was super nice, personal, and had good vibes. We had a slight issue, but he fixed it quickly and made us feel comfortable coming back. The food was fresh and good. Highly recommend and appreciate the manager’s friendly service resolving issues as well.

It’s new and really popular at this moment, so be patient. All workers are learning so they do make some mistakes. All that considered they are moving people through relatively quickly. Know that the burgers come with LOTS of mustard, onions, pickles, tomatoes, lettuce. If you’re not a fan of mustard, make sure you let them know. Ordered onion rings, but can’t say how they were because I got fries instead. The jalapeno burger had very little flavor, again LOTS of mustard. The large soda is very very large. Not a bad burger, but not a great burger. Servers were friendly, but it was hard to stay on top of the number of people coming through. It was not a bad burger place, but I probably would only come back to try breakfast.

We’ve gone here multiple times since they opened in Pueblo and each time the experience has improved. On our most recent visit we had excellent food, friendly service and a very clean dining area. Nice job management, the changes and/or training is working.

We went for the first time to Whataburger in Pueblo. Loved it. Then we went to the one in Colorado Springs that is across the street from In-N-Out. Not impressed. Then we were able to confirm by going back another time to the one in Pueblo is stellar and all staff demonstrated exceptional service on all fronts.

Slowest Whataburger Ever. I’ve ordered from here several times. Unfortunately, wether using the app, drive through or dining in, this is the slowest Whataburger I’ve ever been to. Food is what you would expected but, slooowwww…. So slow but the fries were cold and soggy. And overpriced compared to Texas.
