My parents and I went for the second time this afternoon. We had the same server. She was so nice and attentive. I’m sorry, I forgot your name. Dark long hair❤️
I’m a keto/carnivore and ordered with pork belly with the sauce on the side and the Union Burger with no bun, and bacon instead of potatoes. The bacon jam is off the hook! The smashed burgers and sunyside up egg were perfectly cooked and the veggies were super fresh.
My dad’s Cobb Salad with fried chicken looked incredible and my mom devoured the Blueberry Cornbread Waffle. I had a little taste of the blueberry compote and it was sweet but not too thick and syrupy.
I would love to come back for dinner.
We sat outside. The ambience is perfect. Lots of trees, sun, and people watching, as the walking path is just a few feet away.
Thank you for a great experience of eats and conversation. Inside is super cute with the bar in the middle and seating surrounding it, against the walls. Very family friendly.

Went for the first time on March 15th shortly after they have recently celebrated their one year anniversary. Menu options are great. I went with the hot honey chicken mac and cheese and it did not disappoint! Tara the bartender was very friendly and upbeat. She made some incredible mixed drinks. Carla our waitress was great. She was attentive and friendly and would check on us often. The two of them made the place feel very welcoming! Planning to visit again soon.

Music & Dinner Girls Night! Special pomegranate margarita on the rocks was delicious and strong. Fried zucchini had a tasty sauce and the scallops and sweet potato purée with leeks was awesomely delicious. Space was cozy and the music by Alexus Lee was fantastic. Union Bistro and Riverside, RI are cuties, will definitely visit again.

My bestie and I came for my birthday dinner based on the raving reviews. It was a Thursday at 5:30pm and we were the first patrons. We were greeted by Teri, who provided excellent customer service during our entire meal, and owner, Monique. After letting them know we were here for my birthday, Monique brought us over shots of our choice, on the house. The restaurant under Monique’s ownership is just a few months old and doing well! The place filled up by the time we left. We started with cocktails: Carousel, Summer Day, and Cedar Grove. I mentioned to Teri I thought the Carousel could be sweeter and she came over with simple syrup right away. We loved all of our drinks. As an appetizer we had parmesan fries with special sauce (mayo & hot sauce). Yummy and straight from the fryer! For dinner we ordered the Hot Honey Chicken (with cornbread waffle) and Build-Your-Own Mac-N-Cheese (with fried chicken and sweet chili sauce). EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS. The best mac-n-cheese either of us ever had. The chicken was melt-in-your-mouth good. From the customer service to the food to the ambiance, we were sold.
There is outdoor seating on the bike path and even though it was raining, a family with a kid in a stroller and dog pulled up just as we were leaving.
I would be remiss not to add that another waitstaff, Izzy, seemed to win over customers with her charm. She stopped by a few times (seemingly flirting) and eventually asked for me to take a picture of her and my bestie. While very friendly, and it didn’t take away from the excellent customer service overall, it bordered on unwelcome/uncomfortable. My bestie and I both commented on it afterward.
OVERALL: Highly recommend. I even told my family about it when I got home.

Second Friday my friend and I went to Union Bistro. Decor details are wonderful. You are welcomed the minute you enter the doors and you feel happy. The owner and her son are right in the mix working along her staff and most of all checking on guests and her staff. She has an eye for decor, food and beverages. Make sure to not be in a rush good food and well made drinks take time! Meet Tara on the bar and an unforgettable smiling face is Izzy-I can’t say enough about this place. Whether you want to sit out under the stars or inside where the heart of the bistro is-you will not be disappointed.

The Instagram pics definitely does Union Square Bistro justice. We say outside they are behind a bike path. We went for brunch, my favorite meal! My food was delicious, I got the sweet potato hash with chorizo. My friend got the blueberry and waffle. We got mimosa flights. They had unique options like lavender, guava, lychee and others. I highly recommend and will go back!

This is a little hidden gem!! Food is FABULOUS! The sangria!!! Pork belly appetizer. Steak frites ( so flavorful, tender!) and Mac n cheese w short ribs! ( creamy so so good!) I told my family to try this place. I can’t wait to go again!
