Slappin Wings & Lounge has some of the very best, if not The best, buffalo wings on the south side of Columbus.
Their menu boasts a variety of flavors. If nothing else, you have to try their in-house concoction appropriately named “Slappin Sauce.” The right kick of flavor, heat, and savory will keep you coming back for more and more.
My biggest issue with the lounge is the interior setup just doesn’t work for dining in. There are several chairs against the wall but only wall table tucked into the corner by the ladies room.
Ample outdoor seating is available, but when the winter months come, no thanks, not sitting outside.

Still never a bad meal!!
Update: the food is always good here, havent had a bad meal yet. Havent seen the rude young lady in forever, so the people taking our order have been very pleasant. They opened the back area for pool and there’s a dance floor. This has really turned into a nice establishment for the near East Side.
Past: The food is tasty. The service from the young light skinned lady is horrible. She has had a bad attitude on multiple occasions we’ve visited. Her attitude alone will be the reason we won’t come back.
Hopefully she doesn’t stay working there long but I’m pretty sure she’s related to the owner in some way.

Update: We went back today because of the service yesterday. We ordered whole wings online. We arrived and were given wing dings. I asked about it and at that time was advised that they were out of whole wings. They said that they could not give us the difference in full and the new system charges tax. However, we paid one price online, but they refused to honor it. We will not return over such a small thing that could have been fixed due to their error. I forgot to check the fries while we were there.. an entire box of burned fries! I took photos of everything!

Slapping Wings moved into our neighborhood a while back but today was our first visit. We ordered 15 wing dings and a large fry. The prices are affordable and the food was freshly made. We added the ranch seasoning and that was the icing on the cake! The fries are like carnival fries which my Husband and son loves. We’ll definitely stop in regularly and support our new fav chicken spot.

Not slapping and IM PISSED!!!! I asked for certain sauces and there is absolutely no seasoning on these wings and since I don’t have spicy garlic only a ton of nasty Carolina gold sauce, I can’t even indulge. Hence I paid for spicy garlic sauce as well. I got all drums and I hate drums. Worse experience ever! Gotta stay away now!

This place is a Joke!!! Went in ordered my chicken which was a dollar wing today. Chicken was ugly dark spots from blood clots my chicken wasn’t fried hard enough no seasoning then I was told I would have to pay for sauce on my wings . My fry was greasy and not crispy at all no hot sauce was given but I was told where I could get ketchup. I spent 25 dollars and gave a tip I am very disappointed because I thought I would give this place a try . I should’ve took my butt to wing stop like I started to. Worst food experience I have ever had I will not be going back
