I came here because Mi Tierra was busy and I wanted to try some breakfast tacos. I waited several minutes before anyone came up to me and this lady rudely turns me away. She said I can cook the food but i don’t have anyone to run the register for me I’m only a cook here. I asked her if the restaurant is open and she says yes but I can’t charge you. Why the hell are you even open then if you can’t even provide service? She actually told me to go eat at one of the other restaurants lol never heard of someone turning away business and telling people to go elsewhere. Will never return here again and will be glad to spend my money at Mi Tierra.

I got 2 chicken “chalupas” but they were actually tostadas. I asked the lady if they had served us the wrong food and she said “no, that’s what chalupas are, tostadas.” The food was alright. The lemonade was good. The other aguas frescas were not good. Taco Bell has better “chalupas” than this place.

Possibly the worst food we have had across-the-board on our are six months of travel. Chicken tacos were redeemable enough, however we pretty much paid $16 for tortillas, and rice and beans, with a little bit of chicken. The avocado salad was an absolute joke. Nothing had any flavour, and the preparation looked like somebody’s grandmother had thrown them in their pocket prior to serving them.
I really wanted to get our money back, but we had to eat the food because we waited for nearly 25 minutes to get it.
It’s a tourist trap in a busy market that doesn’t care about their product.

uh well, my taco/chips and salsa took almost a hour, I mean who even cooks it almost an hour? Beside! This woman told me and my mom it would take 15-10 minutes , but it almost took a hour! Some people were angry, some of the food were on the counter when the staff/manager left, she wasnt at Ranchero, she wasn’t serving and ordering. I may think she was drunk or something. but anyways if you’re seeing this ms. staff/manager , you’re doing a terrible job ^^ please get more employees to cook and serve people food. Everyone shouldn’t go to Ranchero though, they may take you a hour , it’s a waste of time. It was my dad’s birthday so uh, Ranchero wasted my time.

Two ladies handling the cash box were really rude. Requested that I pay for the beer that came out of the tap before it ran out, although it did not fill half the glass I had already paid for.
